Oh my goodness this is the best Tips and Tricks video I have ever watched. Clear and concise (maybe a little fast but not a real problem). I watch How to and Tips and Tricks videos a lot for all different apps and things I want to learn and truly this is the best. I’ve subscribed and I’m going to check out what else you have to offer. I started with GoodNotes in 2018 but went back to analog journaling then stopped all together until this month. I hope to make 2022 a banner year for digital journaling and with your help I just might stick with this goal. Thank you. I second the comment about creating a PDF GoodNotes guide (I too would pay to have a reference guide)

How do you add custom color presets when using the lasso? I can only add presets to the pen and highlighter. Makes it really annoying changing color with the lasso tool, having to enter the hex code every time.😩 Love the video!🥰

Hi! You can lasso the annotations/handwriting you want, tap inside the dotted lines and then tap Add Element. It will save the handwriting as an element. Hope that helps.

I have the iPad 9 ( regular iPad 2021 I think) I have tried to use the elements tab but it crashed when I try to load more than like 6 stickers at a time and takes forever to load if I have more than like 20 elements in a group. Have you ever had issues limiting your elements? Are you creating your own stickers to put in there?

Hi! I haven't noticed this on my iPad but I'm guessing it will depend on the specific items being added. I create my own stickers and mainly use them but I've added other images previously and haven't noticed any issues so far.

In GoodNotes, can you edit the items placed in the the “Elements Tool” Section? Like delete items, or re-organize the items placed. I find that I will make better versions of the stickers I put in there and want to delete the old versions or make a new Category and want to move some items into the new Category I created.
