Concerning the Godfather game, the main issue of that game was that even though there were several cities, they were too little, whereas in the first Godfather game NYC was really big, it felt alive and very detailed. Both were great games, but I would pick the second one , the strategy compound of choosing your crew, their abilities etc was awesome.

I've played all of these except for Kane and Lynch (I read that Freedom Fighters 2, the planned sequel to one of my favorite games was canceled to make Kane and Lynch so I refuse to play any Kane and Lynch gamer s at least until a Freedom Fighters sequel does come). but as much as I love The Saboteur I personally wouldn't put it on this list because I don't think it has enough focus on the Mafia or gangs. I would put Saints Row II or III or one of the PC Gang or Mafia focused strategy games from the late 90s or early 2000s in instead. Also while I think the first Mafia game is good I think both the sequels are better.

In the saboteur, you play as a Irishman who helps the French resistance there is no mafia or gangs involved. It is though one of the best ww2 games ever made. The only ww2 game that’s open world
