I think the back to the future poster was better than both the star wars and raiders posters and I think the raiders of the lost ark should be alot further down. Because it looks alot like just the flowting heads posters we have today(but painted)

It's pretty subjective. If you wanted photorealism and dramatic lighting: Back to the Future. If you wanted a more Art Nouveau / decorative pedestal: Raiders. If you wanted symbolism and metaphor Fear/Loathing or Silence of the Lambs should be on top.

Yes, Adam West was in the first Batman movie in 1966 (as well as the TV series airing at the time). The Batman movie they talk about was made in 1989 (which is commonly mistaken for the very first).

I think my favorite movie posters of all time are the one for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two, the ones that just say "It All Ends." I love them because they don't even need a title, they're so iconic that you immediatly know what they're from. Even if they didn't have stills from the movie, most people would probably recognize it just from the font. And Harry Potter was such a huge part of my childhood that just the movie poster and the thought of it all being over made me emotional, which was why i loved it so much.
