The fact that I listened to Etrian Odyssey Untold 2 opening song minutes before I watch this video made me gasp, the coincidence is down right unsettling 😂, such a solid jrpg by Atlus btw

I started dq8 like last year and was enjoying it a lot but once Angelo joined my team I spent several hours trying to figure out which way to go and I could not figure it out. I really need to go back to it and try againn

When Angelo officially joins your party you have to keep traveling past his birth-town, the town that introduced him. Sleep at the chapel that's by the bridge for a secret cutscene with him and King Trode, and continue to journey forward until you arrive at the giant castle town where the npcs are mourning and dressed in black. From there everything is self explanatory.

I would swap out Bravely Default with 7th Dragon: Code VFD (equally as good battle & class systems but without the padding). Otherwise nice list.

I recently tried SMT 4 with emulation on my steam deck, when it's upscale it looks like a ps3 game and runs in steady 60fps but I still decided to just wait for a Remake due to the annoyances of switching between the screens

Playong through bravely default now. just started it today actually. I bought bravely default 2 and i liked it so i stopped playing it so i could play them in order

Uh, yeah... over here, the guy in the back. Does Culdcept count as an RPG? Because it's got a 3DS version and it's a pretty good hybrid of RPG, strategy, and board game, even if the computer plays with loaded dice. Oh, you just _happened_ to make a roll that avoided all my claimed spaces on the board. Again. For the third time. Uh huh. Can I... see those dice?

Have you played Super Mystery Dungeon? That would make it very high on my list. Honestly, the mainline games would be very low on it, I just wasn't a fan of them, especially the ones after XY.
