It showed the Rio Grange Gorge Bridge but did not state it is the 7th highest bridge in the US. Between the bridge and the Taos plaza is the unique community of Earthship Homes. Also, Tent Rocks National Monument is a geological marvel not seen in most of the other 50 states. Acoma Pueblo should rank in the very top for things to see in New Mexico. And not to forget, while the Chihuahua desert stops at Gibson Ave. in Albuquerque, the Rocky Mountains all the way to Alaska start there too!!

My family has lived in New Mexico for generations. We live in Mora County which is in northeastern New Mexico. Every spring we take a drive on the Enchanted Circle, which goes around Wheeler Peak. It's breathtaking I highly recommend it. We also take the pilgrimage from our church to El Sanctuario de Chimayo. Also a very beautiful place.

I wonder if the Picuris people will ever get the water back that the Moreno's have illegally diverted for almost two centuries...

@@discgolfcasados871 good question. I have family that came from the Picuris Pueblo.

Going to a 3 day festival in Western New Mexico in May 2024. Pretty excited to road trip around NM again. My 3rd year going.. El Malpais Monument and volcanic ice caves are pretty cool and recommend. The festival is about 30 mins from there so I hope I get to do more trails and ruins. Land keeps calling me back.
