+steven the Viper V10 is a 90 degree, odd-fire engine...that's why they sound like crap. Ford's 6.8L V10 is also a 90 degree engine, but it uses a split-pin crank and counter-balance shafts to overcome the inherent vibrations of a 90 degree V10. Dodge's solution was the odd-fire ignition.

Well thats not true. Because the earlier Gallardo had a 5.0 engine which was developed by Lamborghini itself. The 5.2 engine which can be found in the Gallardo facelift or the R8 is developed by Audi.

The 5.2 V10 from the huracan was built for the R8 and was than used for the huracan it is an audi engine not a Lamborghini engine

It’s Lamborghini’s engine. Audi just improved it. Audi didn’t start from scratch, they took the original 5.0L Gallardo, changed the firing order, increased the sized, and slapped it on the R8 and 2nd Generation Gallardo

The best sound V10/ best sounding engine in general is that from an 8.4L V10 from a Dodge Viper ACR, no car sounds better starting up, not even an old school V8 Hemi (in my own personal opinion). Plus those side dump exhaust just look amazing.

The fact that i love the viper come along with the fact that i love the V10 architecture. despite that, even tho the Viper V10 sound so unique, i learned that the firing order rather that the crankshaft angle, make the sound totally different in a more enjoyable way. i just wrote whatsoever passed in my mind, pardon me .

which v10 doesn't sound good? That's a good point, of the top of my head I can't remember a v10 motor that sounds bad or any v10 at all, the new viper ACR still has the odd firing v10 and they didn't mess with the exhaust, so it's the exhaust note we love about vipers, and i know someone that has a Ford econoline with a factory v10, and it's not modified and you can hear a little something, you can tell by the sound that's not a V8 under the hood.

+VisioRacer one question, I keep hearing this a lot, but when you talk to a regular mechanic in the USA and you mention any v10 at all, they say it makes no torque, but as an example the new viper v10 makes 640hp and 600 pound feet, why would you say it makes no torque if it makes more torque than a naturally aspirated V8? I like all V10 sounds, i love the clean and pure screamers, but i worship the Viper. it's a mix of V10,V8,L5 and a little bit of V6. It's so messy and unclean compared to the S85 for example, it's simply RAW. But it's not a steady boring tone either, it has a very complex and diverse range. Some times you really don't know what the fuck you're hearing.

Lexus isnt sold everywhere so any Lexus would be badged as a Toyota in most places. Which Lexus is just a rebadged Toyota in the first place. Yamaha did co-develop the engine just like they did with the Toyota 2000GT. You know what they called a Lexus G35 everywhere else? A Toyota Skyline.

Ahmad Jwaidi, the engine is not called LFA, that's the first thing. Second is the 1LR engine was developed by Toyota and Yamaha and then put into the Lexus LFA. Get some knowledge, please, before you start yelling and swearing at me.
