Listen.. This is what you need; 1. Multivitamin 2. D-vitamin 3. Omega 3 Fishoil Optional 4. Protein powder (only if you dont get enough through your diet) Everything else will only do more damage than good to your body in the long run. - Vitamin C: in excess can potentially hurt your muscle hypotrophy. - L-Arginine: why not L-leucin? or L-glutamine? or any of the other 22 aminoacids? Cause you get more than enough through a balanced diet, L-Arginine is not superior to any other aminoacid in any way... its not a magic pill... don't full yourself. - ZMA: same as above... Balanced diet, + you already get it in your multivitamin. Waste of money. - Quadracarn:... another "secret" magic pill... No. Rasberry ketones fuck off... there is no fucking fat burner pill! the only ones that excist are illigal and can potentially kill you, (dnp/effadrine etc.). Calorie defecit folks. - CLA: Please just look, just look at the studies... its not that hard, do a google scholar search, or pupmed... Just no. Fake science. Pre-workout: its caffine... just caffine... drink coffee, much better for you. Or even better, Drik Water... That wont fuck with your circadian rhythm aswell. Post.workout: Just drink a proteinshake. Listen.. i trust people like Eric Helms, Alan Aragon, Layne Norton, the guys who actually have a dergree in this shit, let alone a PHD

I don't leave comments usually however, after reading a lot of yours below I felt incline to do so. Simply to the point, alpham promotes his sponsors to make money and he does not hide that fact. KZbin is a business let's not forget..and I appreciate his integrity on the manner. On that note (integrity ) I chose to believe that if Aaron puts his seal of approval on a business or product offered by them, he legitimately believes in it.. (maybe you should do one on products you've turned down in the future.) And while he may or may not have PhD what he does have is admirable physique and years of experience as a personal trainer, not to mention a very prestigious bodybuilding award. So I personally would take his opinion over that of a nutrition scientist. I mean if we're talking semantics than why not follow the food pyramid? I'm just saying that science goes back and forth on the touchy subject of nutrition. But results speak for themselves. Thank thank you for the video, and I look for 2 seeing more

Taking supplements is a choice you make when you start to get into fitness,over the years.One thing i realized that once you stop taking things like pre workout,youre not gonna feel the same.And also your body is made in such a way that it can adopt changes at a good pace,So if you need 1 scoop of pre workout when u begin,ur body is gonna adapt to the spike it causes in your body and try to make it minimum.Therefore,i wouldnt recommend taking things like Pre-Workout.

Wasn't used much back in the day and now ppl have all kinds or heart issues from crap like that. Eat your proper nutrition along w/ getting good sleep. You would find that a great workout can still be done w/ out all the stimulants contained in pre-workout. Legal cocain is what I call it. ***** Basically, unless someone wants to actually be a bodybuilder, there is really no reason to hit protein powders. As you wrote, people don't seem to realize how much effort (and money) it takes to do that. Seems like a miserable existence to me. Most people can just add a little extra protein to their regular diets to try to maintain your mass.
@AJHart-eg1ys7 жыл бұрын
***** That's the thing. The powder is not cheaper than actual food. It MAY be a less filling way, but a can of tuna is lean, fairly natural, unsweetened and comes with 20g of protein at about 75 cents per serving. The whey protein in this vid is one of the lower-cost sources that is still decent as far as percentage of protein by volume. At best, it's still generally going to be an extra nickel per 20g or protein or maybe break even if you get a really good deal. And always be wary of the tub when it promises 60g of protein, etc. That almost always means multiple servings - not the single serving on the nutrition label. Suddenly the $60 tub of quality whey protein is only going to last you a few weeks. Plus, in the case of something like tuna you don't have to buy it in mass quantities, you don't have to take up space with a big tub, you can eat it in about a minute, and you don't have to lie to other people about how well it blends and how good it tastes. :) Of course, then there's the consideration that as you put on weight, you need to consume even MORE protein to maintain/grow. People often become slaves to their protein regimen the same way that smokers and crack addicts are slaves to their vices.

A lot of people are going off the rails with the info they gathered themselves, honestly all you need is a good diet plan (whether it be for bulking or cutting), a tub of whey protein (usually ON or JYM), and if you really want to get into it a preworkout (cellucor c4, ON has a good one too). There's no need for the pills and expensive multivitamins, just go get a cheap one at the store, and the Omega 3's are not that important unless your a little older and maybe you need a small boost, but it's nothing to fret over. A 5 lb tub of whey Any preworkout A dieting plan Oh and a gym to train at at least 4 days a week Those are the only things you need, and of course don't forget the tiege Hanley haha Also building muscle takes time so don't expect results immediately, 2-3 months in you should see something but it will be small, go for strength not size and you'll do fine

They used to be all about high quality and potency but apparently Nestle said “Um nope, too expensive to make..” So my question is this: What’s a good multi? Who can we trust? There’s a lot of fake crap out there. I’m 43 years old and I don’t wanna waste time or money with garbage filled low potency vitamins. Any help is much appreciated! Big fan, Todd Davis

And this is how Alpha is saving for a new car, increadible awesome product placement :)). For the good workout supplementation, just three things: Creatine, plant based no-whey protein powder and BCAA. All that + extra omega 3´s - derived from algae, not from fish oil and you are all set.

I could agree, in certain cases, with taking a multivitamin, but the rest are useless if you have a balanced diet. While a slightly poorer diet could definitely benefit from the use of these supplements, it would be much more sustainable and healthy to simply improve one's diet rather than looking for a quick fix through these types of supplements. They're called supplements for a reason: they're not meant to replace anything. They are there to provide a boost. That's it. You don't need a boost if your levels are already good.

All my respects to Aaron, but there is no way anyone should be buying this many supplements in order to keep and/or grow ones body. Unless, of course, you're able to grow money on a tree. This guide should be a realistic approach to the average joe out there who isn't a professional bodybuilder, yet. I'd say that you should max get 4 out of above mentioned supplements, unless you wanna pay - Alpha.m discount included - $168,2 (could only find 6 of the products, with discount, included in the video). Eat fish, chicken, turkey and meat along with a nice salad and so on, and you'll only need 4 supplements tops. If you're insanely good at dieting, you'll probably don't need any at all! Just don't eat crap and don't forget to hit the gym!

While I will not dispute that these supplements have their effect, most of them offer very little advantages and cost a lot. I feel like you didn't stress the number one thing about supplements: they're an optional addition to fill gaps in your healthy diet. Blindly using everything on this list is just throwing money away if you already have a good diet. One of your few videos I did not like.
@TwigAndRockCereal7 жыл бұрын
He doesn't emphasize the 'supplemental' nature of these products because he wants to sell shit and make that paper. He's all about that paper nowadays.
@Konstantin_Kocevski17 жыл бұрын
Arcan3frost I disliked the video as a whole because it's still affiliate. That discount code isn't there for nothing. Regardless, they're SUPPLEMENTS. NOT REPLACEMENTS. If people don't understand basic English and someone needs to explain supplement =/= replacement then that's their fault.
@Arcan3frost7 жыл бұрын
I agree with you there. I do feel like the way the information is presented will cause beginners to overestimate the results these products provide, and might stimulate them to spend a lot of money for virtually no gain. While the word "supplement" in itself does clarify that, there are also words like "essential" or "critical" thrown around in this video. Supplements should be assessed on an individual basis, and 80% of the population is best of spending their money elsewhere. If you make a video on supplements you just have to be more objective and scientific than this in order to actually help someone.
@Konstantin_Kocevski17 жыл бұрын
Arcan3frost It's alpha m. He's been constantly promoting sponsors only with minimal or no value for the past year maybe even two? If people expect to get fitness advice from him then... Well... I think they deserve to get ripped off for not doing their own research. Someone who's interested in fitness knows that you dont need anything else then some vitamins you're not getting through your diet + whey, creatine and maybe bcaas. The rest is dog shit
@Jameshasconnected4 жыл бұрын
You shouldn't need a multivitamin. You should be eating a balanced diet that doesn't require you to eat vitamin c or a multivitamin or omega 3. The only exception is when you are dieting heavily.
