The 2016 win was based on heavy sandbagging right before the race day and in that year the race car was questionable to race at Le Mans because the road car did not meet the minimum production number required to enter the championship. Unlike the original gt 40 which was a real "elbows out" effort, the 2016 win was more of a marketing practice.

I don't know why every exotic with front-end lift doesn't have whatever system the GT has, because it works exactly as you would want it to.
