Glad to see you finally got around to the Shafer Trail - I did it on my first trip to Utah's Mighty Five and loved it! Can't wait to come back for the full White Rim Road trip.

I loved this video. I'm doing the Moki Dugway/Monument Valley in June. I wanted to to Capitol Reef but the main road is closed for repair so I'll have to come back for that one and Cathedral Valley. You showed me some that I wasn't aware of. Utah is awesome. Thanks for the video.

When you get going up or down, think about an 18 wheeler taking this "short-cut"

Which road is closed in Capitol Reef in June? I want to go there too in June
@larrydraper44519 ай бұрын
@@bhendrikabel Effective April 29, 2024 the Scenic Drive will close from just south of the Grand Wash Road to Capitol Gorge. Starting May 13, the Scenic Drive south of the campground will close. Expect heavy truck traffic. No end date given.

Nice vlog. Attended my undergraduate program in Utah and now live in Vegas. I get to spend some time in southern Utah exploring but you have given me some places to explore.

Stunning journey through Utah’s scenic towns! If you enjoy discovering lesser-known history and cultural traditions, my channel offers fascinating deep dives into U.S. states.

Awesome video! Regarding the Heber loop I was wondering if if driving highway 92 from Salt Lake to Provo will cover most of the scenery? My wife and I are planning a trip this October and I wanted to include this on our way south to the Parks, also how likely will this road be closed mid October? Thanks!!
@WereintheRockies4 ай бұрын
Driving Hwy 92 will cover some of it but will give you a taste. Not sure about mid-October. More than likely it will be open but not positive.

I don't blame you for being scared. I'm afraid of heights too. I will never drive out of Yellowstone to Cody again. As long as there is a guard rail or even vegetation that I can see next to the road, I'm ok. But, when there is nothing but a sheer drop of thousands of feet at the edge of the road, it scares the crap out of me.

Great video guys! 👏🏼👏🏼 do you think it’s dangerous to get the Moki Dugway during the last week of November?
