Jericho and Malenko have discussed Batista's fine. Vince planned to fine everyone: Batista and Jericho, the ref, and Malenko (producer of the match). Batista told them it was his idea and he'd pay for everyone which is why it was 100K
@daleharris38092 жыл бұрын
If that's true that's actually a pretty standup thing to do on Batistas part. He bit a big bullet. Even for someone of his stature at that point 100k is nothing to sneeze at.

@SolidSonicTH2 жыл бұрын
I still don't know why the ref got fined for that. It's not like Jericho and Batista were telling him "hey, Dave's gonna blade, just look the other way." Maybe I could understand Malenko since the agenting needs to take into account spots but the ref...I really don't know what WWE expected him to do to intercede on the blade job.
@mikeawesome92122 жыл бұрын
No, Batista's fine was 100k because Batista ALONE was fined 100k. Jericho, the ref and Malenko were each fined $5000.00 which Batista decided to also pay so Batista ended up paying 115k and THAT is how the story goes.

I was at a house show for WWE in 2017. The opening match was Tye Dillinger (Now Shawn Spears) vs. Aiden English, wherein some drunk dumbass started chanting "USA!" leading to Dillinger playing up the Captain America gimmick while Aiden English angrily shouted at the crowd "I'm American!!!" The best part is that Dillinger is from Canada. Dark "match" story: My cousin went to the Raw when Rollins tripped over the barricade making his entrance. Apparently after the show went off the air The Shield and CM Punk spent 10 minutes just going into the crowd and leaping over it (along with some other shenanigans) to laugh at Seth before CM Punk got on the mic and said "You've all stayed after the shows gone off the air just to watch us have fun. Thank you, it genuinely means a lot." The only nice thing he's ever said.

Then get caught & apologize… and then clobber Randy instead. I think they co-pinned Randy at the end. I’m pretty sure this is the same night of Goldusts’s return that year.
