Dynamo Kyiv under Lobanovskyi in the late 90s. You can argue that they overachieved,but watch those 2 games vs Bayern in the Champions League semi finals,can't say Dynamo got outplayed or outclassed much. No the Ukrainian league and cups didn't count back then.

The reason France did very poor in 2002 WC despite all the star players they had was because Zidane was injured through group stages, they had to play a half fit Zidane in the third game vs Denmark which they lost. Therefore I don't think it should be on number 1, imagine Portugal missing Ronaldo from the begging of WC or Argentina missing Messi, I really doubt they would go any further then group stages.

Weaponer Fifa bale and modric were youngsters we’ve developed into world class players before shipping them off to arsenal, and arsenal spend more than us every year excluding the season in which we had a fuckton of money from the bale transfer. arsenal are supposed to be a title challenging team every single year when they haven’t won it since 2004 and tottenham weren’t supposed to finish in a champions league spot in 2016 when we finished 3rd and almost finished 2nd.
