And what about Rybolovlev then? AS Monaco were 15th (or even lower) in Ligue 2 when the Russian bought them. He got rid of their debts and enrolled such a succesful policy that they managed to promote in only the next season, managed to enter the Champions League (Ranieri again!) and they have set up a fantastic scouting system.

Moratti was a amazing Owner. Since he left, Inter-Milan haven't been able to attract World Class or really quality players in the transfer market and have just mostly bought mediocrity in the last few years. Yeh he sacked a lot of Managers but tbf pretty much all of them were shite and just kept dragging the club down instead of improving it. Also he never expected any of those Managers to win the title. All he asked for was a Champions League spot which was a realistic expectation. He also hired Jose Mourinho in his prime before any other big club could even approach him just after he foolishly tired and to go for the Barcelona job after Frank Rijkaard was sacked.

Though there's mixed feelings about them at Anfield now, they bought Liverpool in 2010 when the club was less than 24 hours from going into liquidation. Then went on to take us to the Premier League for the first time after beating Sheffield United in the Playoff Final.
