In this video, I play a blitz game against lichess user Dareoth (1520). The normal rules of chess applied, but the game featured one big twist: I started with 10 bishops. This was a part of a stream where I encouraged viewers to challenge me to "custom positions" where they could make up any position of their wildest fantasies. I like how although you start at -9 you have plenty of confidence and treat the position as though you have the advantage. Interestingly, Stockfish evaluates 1: d2a5 as 0.00, whereas with the 11 knights game the first move for white was evaluated at about -9. The power of the bishop dectet

Rooks can defend each other too. Bishops can't possibly be stronger than rooks, because bishops are colour-bound, and king and 1 bishop can't mate.

If you count a bishop as 4 pawns, knight as 4 pawns, rook as 6 and queen as 11 pawns, then 1:31 is equal material. I think bishops should count as 4 pawns for the opening and as 3 pawns for the ending.

Here's some lore in the game! Presenting the bishop trio. Three brothers who have the same goals, and that is to become pope so they meet up in one board in vatican city and defeat satan. The first bishop, Eric, has white toned skin. He's kind of out of place in the trio because he is the only bishop with a light tone in the three. The second and third bishop namely, Rosen and GM are dark toned individuals that are quite eccentric fellows in contrast to Eric. The three later beat satan and got promoted into cardinals. Three years later Eric killed all the cardinals and blamed it to terrorists. Therefore, he became pope and forced everyone to be pawns for the rest of their lives. The End.
