One of my sisters is a proof reader. She's worked for publishing companies, a major food company, law firms & more. If you find a typo on a website, product package, in a book & etc. contact the company. Tell them you found a typo & ask how much they will pay for the information. Get it in writing & check for typos.
@MonsterJuiced12 сағат бұрын
That's interesting. How does that work? Do you just read through random websites looking for errors? As in, off your own back, random websites and not targeted with targets to hit set by your boss or something? For example, me right now could just open website, find an issue then ask for money in exchange for info regarding the typos?
@julietardos50444 сағат бұрын
I once found a typo in an educational website, told them the correct spelling, and they misspelled the word again. Do companies really pay for typo-fixing information? I'd be great at that. Misspellings just leap out at me.

A lot of Data Tagging jobs are being outsourced to places in Africa. The jobs subject people to some really dark images and videos--things no one should see. Things that are not legal. Beware of that downside. Ppl are being underpaid grossly when it is outsourced. Several companies that hire contractors can be really shady and beware of scammers. I definitely am Autistic and also was diagnosed. I am waiting for disability for that and other issues. My problem with this is as I look for these kinds of remote/ work from home jobs, it still says you need a number of years of experience in the field, I don't have that specifically, I was a graphic designer for an interior design firm and I did admin work etc. Also still trying to find a way to make extra money in the mean time but cannot work a full-time job consistently and job expert says "lense fitter" which involves standing for 8 hours. A simple Google search should work just fine, but you can probably find these on job boards as well. If you Google search "data analyst job" for example, a "Jobs tab will appear next to "All" at the top. Click that and you will see all jobs available. Be sure to filter if you need to, and always double-check the job posting by going to the company's website to make sure it is a real posting. Scammers post fake jobs all over (Google and job boards won't know the difference), or you just might be unsure because it's a third-party recruiter posting the job for the company.

1) Some remote jobs require you to stay in a specific city or area while working due to regulations. Most of these will say so in the listing or during the application process. 2) Many remote jobs require not just steady internet but a certain minimum speed and connection quality. 3)Related to point 2, not all RVs can have internet hooked up so do a thorough check on your rig.

There actually was a case that a company lost because of a missing comma. Look up @andyyjiang for a short titled "A missing comma cost them $5 million." It came across my feed recently.

@@Itsamoodart1 The missing commas in that case was based around one in Maine's labor law, not pleadings in the actual case. Therefore, a misplaced or missing comma in a pleading did NOT lose a case. A missing one in the actual STATE LAW WON THE CASE. Proofreading LAWS is not the job the presenter is talking about. Therefore, he is misleading folks.

A recent death penalty level murder case was almost lost due to a copy/paste error. There were 2 different victims with 2 different approximated dates of death. At some point, the version of the indictment that made it to the jury had the same date for both. They were able to correct it, but if the judge had not allowed that, the jury would’ve had to find the murderer not guilty of committing that crime on that date.

@@1momsway Case caption? I'd love to read the actual case for myself. Indictments are created by a GRAND JURY to begin with and a judge can't just overrule that.

@ - it was in the Chad Daybell case in Idaho. The error was not discovered until the judge was about to give the jury instructions. The whole trial was broadcast live on YT. I followed the case and learned of the clerical error in real time. Lawyers on YT who were following the case were commenting about what the error could mean, what options were available to the judge to address it, etc. I live in Idaho and followed the Vallow/Daybell case from the beginning and dug into the details whenever I could. I’m not any kind of expert, but I find legal matters fascinating.

It sounds like these jobs are gonna be shipped away to India within the next. Oh, I don’t know five minutes.

Data manager, cleaning while the room keeps messing up itself ? Sounds like raising kids. I always said that’s like sweeping the sidewalk during a snowstorm ! Sit down ? What is that- does not compute

Question. You mention that you can do these jobs from home but is there a time frame like having to be there 9-5 or can some of these be done just whenever I can make time for them?

Question: Are the jobs you review open to non US citizens /residents? Your videos reach people like me who meet the requirements but live in the Middle East, South East Asia etc. Thanks in advance for replying.😊

How about part time jobs that pay well? Please and thank you. I don't want to work 40+ hour weeks.
