There is that title Ubi are working on which is probably the next closest thing. Of course, it's Ubisoft so who knows when it will actually release etc. but from what I've seen of it, I'm quietly optimistic that it will be a solid title.

Wow, never actually heard of some of these. Obviously, SW1313 and PT are there, but a Daredevil game and 19th century Batman? Those sound amazing. Really hope something can come of them in the future, with Rocksteady having Arkham success and Insomniac making Spider-Man and Wolverine. Maybe DD can even appear in SM3

Yes!! You finally talked about the daredevil game and the last LOK game!! I've been waiting for years!! You should include the flash cancelled game, it was going to use every resource of speeds in games to make people feel like they were the fastest man alive.

Man the world at war game play just brought back waves of nostalgia. Getting the ray gun on the first map was something else. I was adiment that you could get the ray gun on every level. I mean why have an Easter egg at the start to get the ray gun and not allow you to find one in every level. To get them end credits after beating the game on veteran(and if you haven't well has to be hands down the hardest cod to do veteran, the grenade icons are hell)and feeling amazing to only get "that" cut scene of the zombies was hair raising.

Starcraft Ghost will forever be the game I think of in this kind of category. Havind read the books, I love Nova as a character. And her story campaign in SC2 is just a perfect example of how a third person shooter game following her would be awesome.

That doesn't matter at all. It's a basic quality of life addition that doesn't affect engagement that only betters the experience for the viewer. Not supporting something so... simple... is asinine. It's just laziness. @@AndreHeitor666

I have to agree with @@AndreHeitor666 on this one. I know I've been guilty of only wanting to see if a certain game was on a list. If it were divided into chapters then I would only watch the chapter I was interested in, and skip the rest for the sake of saving time.

for context Kojima was in the middle of both Silent Hills and MGS5 at the time. konami released MGS5 with only two 3rds of the game complete and was going to release part 3 as DLC. Kojima was so mad about them releasing a game he had not finished he just walked out on them.

Prey 2 is so heart breaking to this day! The “revamped” prey that had nothing to do with the universe I fell in love with playing the first prey and what we were teased with that trailer still hurts to this day. That game would have been infinitely better! I’m very glad it made the list! I liked the jab that fallout 76 was good enough to release but Prey 2 had to be scrapped 🤭

Hey Jess, I don’t know if you have forgotten, but Indiana Jones and The Staff of Kings was NOT cancelled! It was originally going to be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but it got changed over for the PS2 and Wii.

As I understand it, "Fear over quality" was Bethesda's given reason for why they cancelled Prey 2, but the actual reason was that they wanted to purchase the developer, and the developer didn't want to be purchased. So, they more or less cancelled the game out of spite. No idea if that's accurate or not, but worth looking into.

Do they live underneath a rock? Because Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings was not canceled but was moved over to the Wii and PS2. The PSP port is the better version of the game, because it doesn’t incorporate motion controls into the WHOLE game like the Wii Version does.

Every titles idea on that list is still very interesting. Maybe they will come in some kind out as long as they not going they gotham nnight way; a game full of great ideas which executed with a almost desperate addiction to shout out "different" ... instead of delivering quality, just different isn't better sometimes just clunky. I enjoyed L.A. Noire so the Dirty Hairy game might have been a game I would have enjoyed. I feel L.A. Noire is an under-appreciated game.

The problem with L.A. Noire is that it was deceptively marketed. That may have been good for it’s initial sales but in the long term I think it hurt it critically and perhaps commercially as well. Most people though they were getting a Rockstar GTA style game set in that time period.

@@DoctorSess While I did get some GTA vibes with it, I felt it was trying to be unique. That may have hurt it. I had been playing GTA games for a couple years before I first bought and played L.A. Noire in 2014. My first GTA game was San Andreas and I first played that back in 2009 after I turned 18. I thought L.A. Noire was something different from anything I ever played before.

If it was canceled I highly doubt it was going to be GOTY. Well I guess if budget was an issue it wasn't necessarily a problem with the game itself. Didn't Daredevil actually get released? Konami is just as bad these days...focusing ONLY on Japanese "Slot Machines," causing many beloved franchises, like Castlevania....to die.
