I had to chuckle---by Card 6, I was thinking, "What? No laminating?" And, I think I want your phrase, "Avoid the Wonk" embroidered onto a pillow or such. LOL Thanks for sharing your fun ideas, and have a great day. :o)

Such pretty cards! My favorite was the circle card with 3 silhouette butterflies. Also, it was a great idea to paint with the glitter pen. So much shine! I don’t have a laminator. What kind is good to buy?
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Hi Pamela! Thanks for your kind comments :) I have a link below the video to this laminator Zoom Yo Laminator amzn.to/2B1KhM8 It's a cheap one because I have broken one in the past by trying to stuff paint through it and doing all types of experiments! The cheap ones work great for crafting xx

Love your cards - would you show sometime how you used the scan n cut to do your FLY. I have one and have never done that - It was perfect Thank you
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Hi Terese! I love my scan and cut and use it to direct cut around stamped images and cut fonts. I used the pre-installed fonts from Scan and Cut Canvas (the free online site) and selected the 3 letters for "fly" and dragged them onto my canvas and lined them up nicely. Then I scanned in my card and made sure the words would cut from the centre of the card by moving them on the screen. Then I hit cut and it did the job. I have a favourite You Tuber when I need a simple explanation of how to do something - applelover53 www.applelover53.co.uk is great and I recommend her to you. Let me know if that helps xx

if you have a laminating machine you can emboss an image and heat set it, then place your foil over and slip them between a folded piece of paper and send them through the laminating machine and it will heat that embossed area enough for the foil to adhere and that works better than the sticky embossing powder that is actually made for foiling. i seen it on a video but can't remember who's but it doesn't distort the image or anything comes out just like it was made to use that way.
@angelaf50406 жыл бұрын
I think it was Jennifer McGuire. I seen that video too and think that's who it was.
@AtticLane6 жыл бұрын
Hi Ashley, you're right and I tried that but couldn't make it work for me so I came up with an alternative 'cos that shiney stuff had to be used! :) xx
