Just wanted to specify that I decided to put on this list cards that are DIRECTLY benefiting from set 3, not cards that are becoming more relevant because they are indirectly benefiting from a meta-evolution.

Shout out to the tagge mention. I actually have been messing around with a nala se deck and honestly with me having clone wars in there. There is definitely a place for him in the deck!

Thank you for this video. I forgot a lot of the cards that you mentioned and even if they aren't going to be viable, they are cards to watch out for. Thank you for all your hard work mate!

Don’t get cocky has to have had one of the largest power jumps because of yoda. A 5 on top is takedown and 6/7 it’s the best single target removal in the game.
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
This is cool is theory but in practice I don't think it's viable. Removal are often the first card you play every round, using a removal on a unit that has already attacked is a LOT weaker, here by definition you have to use Yoda first. Beside having a unit that has left the battlefield and THEN use a removal is not that easy to make happen and all you get for jumping through all those loops is a slightly better takedown ? not great.

10:38, isn’t the 5th set named “Legends of the force” or something? 👀
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
Yeah but I was expecting to see more force pay off earlier, we got 7 force pay off in set 1 (force lightning, force throw, it binds all things , the lightsabers and the force is with me), only one of them being really competitive and then nothing in set 2 and 3, that's a bit odd for a set with a lot of Jedi in it.

Love your content. Thanks as always, but Tagge is pronounced “Togg”, as in the word toggle. The e is silent ❤

Wouldn't Motti's when defeated ability trigger before you play the unit he is exploited for?
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
So when you exploit you have to resolve the entire thing before you can resolve anything else, ability cannot "interrupt" an ongoing process. So in this case, you exploit Motti, you have to resolve everything, so defeating Motti and putting the unit in play and THEN you get to resolve Motti's ability from Motti being defeated. "A triggered ability must resolve once its triggering condition is met unless the ability uses the phrase “you may.” Once triggered, these abilities must resolve at the next available opportunity. If an ability triggers during or as the result of a non-attack action, resolve that ability at the next available opportunity after that action is fully completed. If an ability triggers during an attack, resolve that ability at the appropriate timing point within that attack. Resolving a triggered ability never interrupts an action or ability that is currently resolving (other than the specified timing points during an attack). "

You sure Jango works with ISB Agent? Jango says when a unit does damage, and ISB does not specify that it itself does the 1 damage.
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
The source of the damage is ISB agent which is a unit
@skellyxj12 ай бұрын
@Thorrk_THT but... It doesn't say that it is the source of the damage and some units specifically say "this unit does 2 damage" or whatever, right?
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
@@skellyxj1 he doesn't need to say it, he is factually the source of damage.
@skellyxj12 ай бұрын
@@Thorrk_THT I guess cards in this game do not specify the source of damage like they do in Magic. Had to look at a bunch of cards with ping effects to see none of them specify like I said in the previous comment. Less than helpful reply though 👍

2 Vanguard infantry, Exploit in Asajj XD 4/6 on turn 1..
@Thorrk_THT2 ай бұрын
That's a cute but a lot weaker than grievous turn 1, much easier to pull off because you only need 2 cards instead of 3. But if you really want to go for Christmas land I would rather advice Infiltrating Demolisher with Dooku ability exploiting 2 Vanguard infantry which would make a 6/7 saboteur on turn 1 XD.

@Thorrk_THT Christmas land is always my goal. 👍

Am I wrong in thinking that vanguard infantry cannot buff the unit you are playing using exploit? You sac it as part of paying the cost for the exploit unit, so the exploit cards isn’t in play when the ‘when defeated’ triggers
@callummate82542 ай бұрын
And I guess the same is true for Motti
@mkotul2 ай бұрын
Yes, vanguard is killed and his ability is trigger in the moment of exploiting (so when we are applying cost changes), but this trigger (and all triggers) are waiting for action to finish (so playing unit finish) and only after play ability finished they are resolved (so when new unit is in play)

@ thank you for explaining. That makes a lot of sense. I was playing an exploit deck at my LGS and the general consensus was that I couldn’t use the when defeated to buff. This just makes me more excited to use exploit :)
