Foot fingers? Did you forget your bus? Want to borrow me a pen? Maybe you're in a train! How many mistakes out of the 10 do you regularly make?!

Another video for you - this one is about 10 commonly made English speaking mistakes by my lovely students! Over the years and throughout my teaching career I have noticed these mistakes consistently being made. Watch and listen and check to see how many mistakes you're making! Maybe none?! ;-)

Fun lesson! Another that comes to mind is pluralizing nouns between a number and another noun. Common in erroneous phrases like "a five stars hotel," "10 millions dollars," "10-years-old kid"

What should we say instead of ten years old?

@@ManelMeguellati The correct way to say it or write it is "a 10-year-old kid" (without the 's' in 'year'). However, if you say "The kid is 10 years old" then you need to pluralize 'year' Same idea here: '5 star hotel' not (5 stars hotel)

It's called the UK because of Wales, Scotland, England and Northern Ireland. Geographic names which have more than 1 one state are called the..... like the United States of America, the Fedal Republic of Germany, the Philippines etc.
