I didn't expect many countries see Malaysia as a role model. I always see countries like Korea, Japan and Singapore to be a role model. Although some of it are true, but we're still struggling in some sectors like a corruption, unity, and infrastructures.
Among the keys to success is the culture of strategic plannings in every aspect, R&D, the reviews, improvements and innovations. Education systems which are periodically revised also play a vital role in human development.

I have only one word about Malaysia. MODERATION. Our economic growth and industrialisation have not been spectacular if you see from a short term investment point of view. But it has consistent sustainable steps moving forward sometimes with pauses in between. Because of our etnic make up not all communities run forward at the same pace. We have made sure that those who were galloping a full speed ahead slow doxn and help those who are just strolling forward basically ensuring all communities are constant moving forward instead creating a large gap btw ethnic communites. This has allowed for political stability and everyone tries to move forward together.

I am Malaysia, born in Malaysia, proud to be Malaysian Factors that contributing all these success are all the Malay Land Freedom Fighters since years 1511(the beginning of cruel and oprressive western colonisation) to the fights of Independence in1957, then the strong leadership of early Prime Ministers, Tengku Abd Rahman pave way for Independance i.e next come the Pioneering Leadership of Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn and later in1980's came the strongest Leadership of 4th Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamed where the works of 3 earliest Prime Minister of fabricating intricate balance between Agricultural, Industrial and Service Sector i.e The Tourism and Sosio-economic. He, the 4th Prime Minister :Tun Mahathir Mohamed, then rapidly Modernise the above Sectors that contribute to Malaysia progress even more where in 1990's till early 2000's Malaysia was amongts the Economic Tiger of Asian together with Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Secondly the strong Public Sectors : a.k.a The Government Servant plays important roles that follow through, work the Plan and worked the New Economic Policy, Procedure(NEP 1 throughout NEP10 and the DPB policy after 1990) line out by the strong early 4 Prime Ministers. In other countries, the badly organised Public Sectors and badly corrupted Public Sector hijack the nations economy where Investors such as Multi National Companies and others are turn off from coming and seting up business or factories. Without Public Sectors or Governments Servants that are strong to carry out NEP and DPB as outline by early 4 Prime Ministers, Malaysia development would be stalled and hindered the economic growth. For example in early 2020, the world are being engulf in COVID-19 Pandemic.. To make things worse for the country Malaysia, the early 2020 which continued into 2021 as the spread of COVID-19 and emergency government measures exacerbated initially unrelated political Turmoil & Political Instability, culminating in the resignation of Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his cabinet in August 2021. Numerous elections have been postponed or suspended after the 2020 Sabah state election was blamed for a major outbreak in the state that led to the country's third wave. This situation and several period during 2021 left Malaysia without a Prime Minister. Parliament are suspended and there was no Ministers to ensure normal governance of Public administration, since the Covid-19 Outbreak neccesitated that all citizens of Malaysia are to be restrained at home by the Movement Control Order (MCO)at all time ( to the extent that no one are allowed to go to work or buying goods at the nearest grocery shop/store, except at time allowed -one person only for each family) Thing have gone worse with no Ministers and Prime Minister in charge, numerous politicians have tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021. Despite this, the Goverment Sectors or Government Servant, keep going strong, especially the Health Department, among the Top Three Doctors in the world is : Dr Nor Hisham - the Director General of Health Ministries of Malaysia- courageously together with all the Health Officers and Health Workforce strived together so hard to curb Covid-19 spread and ensure the safety of all Malaysian Citizen throughout the Nation. Despite the absence of Prime Minister and Ministers, Health Ministry lead by Dr. Nor Hisham Together with other Government Sectors and Governments Servant public order have been upkeep. The efficient & strong machinery of Malaysian Government Servant/Public Sectors was proven when all the Public Sectors, The Police, Malaysia Army-Air Force Land and Navy, Education Dept, especially Health Dept, Public Work Dept., Local Authorities ( PBT-City Councils) and other numerous Public Sectors, in the absence of Prime Minister and Ministers) all of them work dilligently hand in hand to upkeep public order and keep the safety of all Malaysian Citizen thru out the nations. Thirdly the Private Sectors- When all the correct and strong National Economic Policy and Procedures are working, the Private Sectors will developed and became stronger over time and enable them to do gretaer investment and more investment internally and externally-export their goods and open business/factories in other countries.

Growing racial and religious extremism and intolerance are major ones, but by no means make up all of its problems. Najib's economic and people development policies were the best. Najib 's taxes system was the best. PH coalition lied about Najib. Now ,after PH(DAP is the dominant political party in the PH coalition) won the election in 2018 and then in 2023, things is not the same again. Now the tycoons from the ethnic chinese malaysian who opposed Najib ' s tax system (GST) rule Malaysia under the disguise of DAP-PH government and they can do whatever they want to monopoly and meddle in the administration for their own profits. THE KEY WORD IS POLITICAL AND SOCIAL STABILITY. MALAYSIA WONT BE ABLE TO ACHEIVE THIS IF MANY OF ITS DIVERS ETHNIC GROUP DID NOT COMPROMISED WITH EACH OTHERS. IF THE NATIVE MALAYSIA DID NOT COMPROMISED AND ALLOWED CERTAIN RIGHT AND PRIVIELGED TO BE GIVEN AND SHARED AMONGS OTHERS MALAYSIA WOULD BE JUST LIKE INDONESIA OR PHILIPIPINES WHERE CIVIL UNDREAST AND SOCIAL CLASH ARE RAMPANT. MALAYSIAN NATIVE NEVER FORCED THE NON NATIVE COMMUNITY WHO MADE ALMOST A QUARTER OF THE POPULATIONTO FULLY ASIMILATED LIKE IN INDOENSIA OR THAILAND OR THE PHILIPINES. WE TOLERATE EACH OTHER AND WE WALK ON THIN ICE EVERYWHERE AND TRY OUR BEST NOT TO MEDDLE WITH OTHER CUTURAL AND RELIGOS ISSUES. THAT IS WHY WE DO NOT BELIVE IN ABSOLUTE FREEDOME OF SPEECH. CERTAIN STUFF LIKE RELIGION AND RACIAL ISSUS ARE NOT TO BE CRITISIZED PUBLICLY TO MAINTAIN SOCIAL ORDERS. WE DONT WANT THE WESTERN STYLE OF DEMOCRACY BECAUSE IT DOESNT WORKS FOR US. THAT IS WHY WE ARE VERY-VERY ALLERGIC TO ANY FOREIGHN INTERVENTION IN OUR POLICIES AND POLITICS. THE WEST ESPECIALLY USA HAVE TRIED TO MEDDLE WITH OUR SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CONTRUCTS FOREVER. BUT WE KNOW HOW TO TACKLE THEM. MAYNY TIMES THEY FAILED TO DO SO BECAUSE WE ARE LUCKY WE ARE VERY NEAR TO CHINA AND RUSSIA. THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE MALAYSIAN FOREIGH POLICIES. WE MADE FRIEND WITH BOTH SIDE OF THE GLOBAL POWER AS LONG AS THESE 2 POWERS DID NOT MEDDLE WITH OUR INTERNAL AFFAIRS. IF AMERICA TRY TO MEDEEL TOO MUCH AND TRY TO TELL US WHAT TO DO WE WILL GO TO CHINA AND RUSSIA VISE VERSA. IF CHINA AND RUSSIA DID THE SAME WE WILL GO BACK TO AMERICA. ALWAYS STAY NEUTRAL AND DO THE BALANCING ACT. MALAYSIA HAVE A REALLY GOOD RELATIONS WITH ALMSOT ALL THE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD EXCEPT ISRAHELL. MALAYSIA GEOGRAPHY ALSO HELP, CUZ WE CONTROL ONE OF THE BUSIEST STRAITS IN THE WORLD AND IT WAS NAMED AFTER OUR MEDIEVAL SULTANATE. I think Malaysia success story mainly comes from it got an environment that enable IRON SHARPEN IRON opportunity. Its multi racial society mostly are able to live harmonisely for so long, create a stable environment for growth. Not only economically but also humanistically. Beside some conservative politicians trying to agrivate racial disharmony due to power and votes, normal citizens mainly lives harmoniously and even helping each other. Especially in the cities, where population density is high, people are taught to be tolerance to the diferences of each race. This is crucial for a healthy society. Anyway, to be honest i wont put Malaysia as successful. It still have much room for improvement. It Malaysia is that successful, why many countries citizen still not know who is Malaysia, why should Malaysian be referred to as the country north of Singapore?😅 Those who travel much will know what i mean.🤭 Each country got its own unique DNA, one can't completely copy other country success story. Malaysia at 1 time try to copy Japan by having "Look East" policy. However many Malaysian still cant be as efficient as the Japanese. While Thailand & Philippines is well know internationally then Malaysia. So its not nice to say as the title described.

Benar sih … Indonesia udah maju banget.
