I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

That I one fine ride! I was considering one myself, but I went with the Silverado. But for a suv, that things is a beast! Tons of torque, great milage and with the trd version the extras are unbelievable! You are going to have a blast with that truck, just remember to wash her good after a visit to the beach! And the means the undercarriage too. Keep her greased, oil changed and new filters, and that truck will last forever. The best part is, they really hold their resale value. So, great investment! Congratulations! And great video, keep up the good work! Up north here we're looking at hard water shortly. That means, lots of layers, good gloves and boots, and ice shelter. Then back to fishing. I do a lot of hiking and some fishing and I really like the Weather Tech floor and trunk liners. They fit nice and are easy to take out of the car and hose off. I would definitely recommend them for your new ride!

I got a new Diawa Presso ultralite and its awesome. I have a Shimano Sahara 500 on it with 4lb maxima line. The last fish I caught on it was a 6.5lb large mouth. I enjoy the ultralite now more than my regular pole.

Craigslist is a hit or a miss. Around here, it's all crap for fishing most of the year. Sometimes you get something decent for a decent price. Once I bought a fly reel for $5. I still have it and use it. Bought a fly rod (glass) for another $5 so I fish with a $10 fly setup from time to time. Then you have people wanting $15 for a batman kiddie pole. The same one you can get for $10 at walmart. Crazy.
