There are so many different types of parrotfish here in Hawai'i. I think that's a Pananu, but I don't know the english name. They are so smart, so catching it on a pole is unheard of. We get them by diving or throwing net on them. If the parrotfish & even the wrasse were bigger, we stuff them & bake it. So delicious. Always enjoy the video's. 🤙🏽

At 13:35 I think that's a Redtail Parrotfish in it's initial stage. Parrotfish can be incredibly hard to identify, but I did extensive research based on the picture in the video and I'm about 99% sure.

My only recommendation, get a proper pair of forceps for removing hooks. Much smaller diameter and easier to use on smaller fish.
