Bioshock Infinite is arguably one of the most tragic stories in the entire history of gaming. I don't think I've wiped away that many tears at the end of a video game, since Shadow of the Colossus. "I sold you. I...sold you." 😭😭😭😭😭 And I'll never hear "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" the same way again.

I think they've got a lot of things in common with Mormons in particular, too. Especially the part where their doctrine literally bakes in a race war. And the radical separatism from America. And the part about how Comstock happened sounds... Oddly similar to the story of a particularly prominent Mormon leader. Whose iconic sermon is the "story of the mulberry bush", which is used to basically teach kids that they should be thankful for abuse, disappointment, and suffering because it's just God (or their parents) guiding them to a greater purpose out of love. No, I'm not exaggerating. That's basically just what it says.

@@FelisImpurrator @FelisImpurrator without a doubt the Mormonism is extremely similar to the Comstock vision of christianity. Once you dig beneath the overly friendly outward presentation of the mormon and community and start learn about their actual theological views, its all about morphing christianity into a similar thing we see in bioshock infinite These same things are true for the conservative evangelical movement but the difference is that the mormons actually put those Comtock like tenants into writing as the core foundations of their theology while the evangelicals just spin and misrepresent actual scripture.

The Children Of Atom always seemed bonkers to me, but interacting with them in Far Harbor was strangely fascinating. I actually enjoyed that part of the DLC, and went for the harmonious resolution. As long as they don’t have the means to detonate anything, we’re good.

I was honestly waiting to see Palekana from Like a Dragon 8: Infinite Wealth. Not only because of the horrific things they did, but also because the control they have and how they gain/maintain power feels very realistic. I felt a gut instinct to not trust them the second I saw their leader, and I'm glad I was proven right!
