In Charleston Illinois it is illegal to drive your car around the courthouse unless you call hours ahead of time to warn people you are coming. (This law was from years past when people commonly road horses and buggies, and cars were loud and obnoxious)

Here's another driving law for your list ... in Germany (or maybe it's only the German state of Bavaria) I've been told that you're not allowed to get into your car and simply "go for a drive" (something I do all the time here). You're meant to have a destination in mind and a reason for going there. So if a cop stops you and asks where you're going, think on the spot and name a place rather than saying nowhere special, just driving around officer. I imagine it's for environmental reasons - polluting without just cause.

In France it's just illegal to run out of fuel, whatever place you are in. If you could not park the vehicle in a safe place (which emergency lane is not) you'll sure get a ticket. This does not only apply to highways.

In Jacksonville, NC it used to be legal to take your spouse to the county courthouse steps and beat them and you wouldn't get charged with anything UNTIL someone actually killed their spouse on the steps about 10 years ago.

In italy the alchool limit is 0.2 for people who have been having the driving license from at least 5 years, for people with less than 5 years of “driving esperience” the limit is 0 and the punishments are very very severe.

You see in Cali, in order to shoot a whale you gotta be on the coast. Let’s assume you used a .223 bullet which travels at 3100 FPS. Whales are deep into the ocean, and to shoot one, you have to destroy your car by driving in the water because when an object hits water, the water hits back just as hard, so the bullet could barely go around 2 feet.

Parker should talk about what is called blue laws. For example it is illegal to spit on a sidewalk in Virginia. In Tennessee it is illegal to curse in front of women or children. Mind you these laws are no longer in forced but they could be and are still on the books.

America has a 0.08 blood alcohol legal limit?!! That should be #11 In Australia it's 0.05, which is typically a drink every hour.

Portugal has the same rules for drink driving as the first rule, it's not a criminal offence if it's under 1.5 and it's fineable over .8
