Journal page ideas: • If you have appreciated a piece of art recently write a sentence or two about that, describe where you saw it and what it made or think or feel • Write out a list of all the times you’ve seen animals in the wild; draw some of them • Write out a list of affirmations about yourself, based on ways you’ve like to change your thinking. But make the believable, rather than writing: ‘I am inherently valuable’, which can be hard to believe, try out ‘I am learning to believe that I am inherently valuable’. It’s a step towards taking on a self-compassionate belief • Write about a time that you have felt spiritually expansive, perhaps a time you felt connected to a wider system of Earth or humanity - if you can’t think of one, perhaps make up a visualisation about this experience • Make a list of times that friends or relatives helped you, feel a sense of gratitude towards them, then on the other side of the page remember some times that you helped friends or relatives (this one is harder, but it does exist! And it doesn’t have to be the same people). Recognise that you are part of a community of care and feel a sense of peace. Help can be in many forms, try to think of times that you were shown compassion and showed others compassion. • Write a thank you to the Earth for supporting you and all this life • List of things you love about your home • Write a list of things that you value about yourself • Do one of Kristen Neff’s written self-compassion exercises (self-compassion.org/category/exercises/) • Things you are grateful for today/in general - as you write pause after each thing, close your eyes and feel appreciation for what you wrote • Things you appreciate about a friend or loved one • Write out treasured memories - a birthday or a special moment with a friend or lover

1. I do a paper garden spread in my journal, every now and then I'll fold an origami flowerpot, or do a potted cactus out of paper cut outs, paint a floral arrange or potted plant using different paint mediums and then I'll add my plant creation to my "paper garden" 2. Another one I love doing is a series of windows or doors that open to reveal a painted image, a paper pop-up or even a favourite poem. 3. A spread on a favourite movie/book/series/poem where the spread contains art elements that represent it, a favourite quote or line from it and maybe a short paragraph about it.

One of my favorite video games, Animal Crossing, is getting a new game this month right before my birthday, and I had this cute little pastel themed sketchbook in my ever growing stack of blank books, so I decided to make an Animal Crossing themed art journal. I pick out my favorite characters, and then base the entire page around their aesthetic. It's been really run so far, and its a good way for me to practice placement, color coordination, and minimalism in a way? I'm still learning how to make things look tastefully cluttered without just overwhelming a page with too much.

Dio Brando love that - I had an AC journal for New Leaf where I’d make a character page and also note how they had their coffee etc, or what clothing items fit Gracie’s themes and stuff :)

@@_arboria_2222 I've been thinking about making doodles or cutouts of furniture items and then making a page where I essentially decorate a room to try out ideas. I -technically- could test decor ideas with happy home designer, but I like the idea of having the ideas forever with my own flair on it.

Helpful prompts, thanks! Another one might be - choose a specific era and create a page that represents it: ie the Roaring 20s, the 60's etc. You could research key dates during those time and illustrate those.

Another Idea would be a journal spread about a favourite TV show and a favourite character.. example, Vikings and princess Aslaug or Ragnar or Lagertha.... Writing down everything you love about the character, the TV show, top 5 fav scenes... Things like that, anyway ... Nice video, it's nice watching you getting crafty and inspiring US with these ideas :)

Another way to decorate your journal is to pliuck a flower, and leave it in water for a while and then place it flat on an old book and close the book and leave ot there for a few days.After that, you can open the book and take the flower and paste it on a notebook and create your own Bontantical Journal!💐🌷

I use mini journals for my language studies - I make notes each lesson of the words I’m unfamiliar with then put them in the journal with maybe an illustration or stylised writing. It really helps and is cuter than flash cards.

I started a new sketchbook without finishing my 6 other ones...but then again who does lol one thing I love to put in my sketchbooks are collages! they're so therapeutic and you can definitely find anything lying around and turn it into "aestheticized garbage" haha

Travel journal for your own home! Be a tourist in your own city/area, there are probably lots of things you haven't seen or done and travel journals are always fun. This way it doesn't cost so much. 😂

my friend totally inspired me by showing me a scrapbook she keeps of photos and memories of her relationship with her then-boyfriend (now fiancee!) and I just had to make a spread for mine 😍 I did a blue and red themed spread using a photo my boyfriend and I took together where he was wearing red, as well as a photo of a rose he gave me when we went on our first date, then some sweet quotes in cute typography, photos that matched colour-wise and other cute little embellishments, and it remains to this day my favourite spread I've ever done. 😍

Vision journals can be used to manifest your desires. Using images and affirmations I manifested 3 dream vacations and money for my kids to buy homes. my absolute biggest dream is to be a musician and to tour the world. so what i thought of as a prompt for me is: just like in a travel journal where you plan out your future travels, in this you plan out your future journey as a musician. you can put songs you write in there, maybe stadiums you wanna play, artists that inspire you, your instrument learning journey, concerts you've attended, pictures of yourself singing/playing etc. i hope someone finds this useful
