When there are a ton of stuff on the same list, you generally won't notice there is something wrong within the list, especially when the trade system is so simple and all you have to do is to click a button to trade (although you now have a mobile authenticator to stop it). This is especially true for the dragon lore because the small picture of the dragon lore is dull in color which is not easy to spot at once (unless you are highly alerted).

@Seranian8 жыл бұрын
'Cept Valve literally says "All trades are final", also its not Valve's or the scammers fault if you don't pay attention.
@imprv19518 жыл бұрын
I know, but it is basically stealing. For example these people who ask for money through internet or these ads that popup which tell you about how to make money. Many of those have been sued and even won. It is scamming as well. Of course you are stupid if you don't pay attention but I think that if you can show evidence of the scam it should be a ban for the scammer (trade ban at least). I mean what is the point in reporting their Steam profiles. You always get the message "Thanks for helping keeping the Steam community clean" (or something like that). Basically means "Thanks for your report. It is useless". They really should step up their shit with these kind of things, also meaning offensive behavior. It should somehow affect your game or something, I don't know what it should do but it should do something. Maybe they could add a reputation counter so that you wouldn't need to check the +rep comments. Getting sidetracked now though... But yes you have a point. They do say that. But they should give a shit about it. Because there is a lot of scams that people might not know and they fall for them.
@Seranian8 жыл бұрын
You make some good points, I like the idea of having an actual rep counter, the +rep thing doesn't really work, because the person can delete all the -rep comments anyway
@imprv19518 жыл бұрын
Exactly :) But yeah Valve should really step up their shit about this stuff. I mean what is the point in having a report button? It's like I can comment to the scammer's (or someone else's profile) "Reported you. lol" and he could keep on going fearless :D

I have a decent inventory, being a CSGO addict, it totals about 1500 dollars. One of my IRL friends asked to borrow a crappy knife to, "flex" for his new cs friend. I gave it to him, then he blocked me on steam and avoided me in school. He forgot I had his moms number and long story short he no longer has a means of playing cs.
@JesseBusman19965 жыл бұрын
Right now steam trade offers have a "Your items" and "Their items" section. I think this is slightly confusing. "Your items" can potentially be interpreted as either "You will give away these items" or "You will receive these items". I think renaming the sections to "You will give away these items" and "You will receive these items" will be clearer and might prevent some people from making a mistake.

This has to be the most retarded comment I've read today on youtube. So you are saying people should buy things that are only useful? Let me ask you a question. Why do you buy soda instead of water when you are in a club or a bar or somewhere? Let me guess. Because you enjoy soda far more than you enjoy water. Guess what. These players enjoy skins far more than default weapons in CSGO. Drinking soda is not useful same as skins, but you enjoy these things more than regular products. You pay for something if you NEED it or you ENJOY it. The most simple logic ever.

DannyPlays Danny soda contains caffeine and sugar, so drinking it will give you a rush that will make you more awake. That is the only reason i drink soda

The Khaos guy is so funny to me, had all the stuff that’s in the trade offer and didn’t recognize his own stuff. Deserves to lose it all because he clearly didn’t value it.

Diddle is a good CS:GO KZbinr, he makes accounts, gets skins on it, catches scammers, so it shows all kinds of scams, and what to expect, and how to know if they might be a scammer.

I got scammed out off £110 worth if skins but it's a life lesson in stepping carefully and unless something like this has happened you won't know how much you get from this happening. I'm kinda glad I got taught it as I would probably have built up my inv bigger and got scammed out of £1,000 rather than £110

Actually that middleman thing happened to a friend of mine. Friend called me on discord, said "Hey can you verify this trade for me?" I said yeah, and then he said okay. "I" was then added, I started laughing, he asked what was so funny, (Before trade happened) I then said "Dude, the guy took my picture, check the profile, bet it's private. That is NOT me." He check then started fucking with the dude. It was great.
