We do the Angelus at noon as a family and my alarm on my phone is a church bell. When the kids hear it they run to our prayer table. It is a race to who gets there first! It’s adorable! God Bless!

I don’t know why I’ve never thought of doing it as a family but that is such a sweet idea!

This was so very special. If everyone would take their relationship with God this serious what a great world we would have. It's about being consistent. It's about having a relationship with our Father. Your family will be blessed as you grow. Being intentional with our spouse and children is so important for a good marriage and to grow good, Godly adults. Ty so much for this video. We all can learn from this. Ty Justine.

Thankyou. I was so glad to see The Angelus picture in your home. I try to dedicate my day to the Sacred Heart with the prayer of St Therese. You’re right the day isn’t right without some devotional act in the morning. Thankyou for this encouragement Justine.

Well that was wonderful! I myself was not catechized till I was 47! I read the Baltimore catechism at that time too! You are absolutely correct our parents thought we were getting this at school! God bless you and your family!

Thank you! I’m so glad you were able to get properly catechized even though it was later on.

Your intention to move your body is inspiring. I am due with my 6th in August and I struggle to find time to intentionally move. I know there is a lot of weakness in my body that I could improve by consistently working out. I am constantly moving with the farm and all of the housework, homeschool and child wrangling, but I struggle with lots of aches and pain that stem from weakness and doing these things with bad form. We get up at 4 to milk so any pocket of empty space in the day, I just want to rest, when really I am sure exercise would lead to more energy.....getting from thinking about it to doing it though- thats the hard part!

Ugh I know how you feel especially during pregnancy! (I had my 6th in August of last year and a summer pregnancy was no joke) I think you need to achieve a good balance between movement and rest. Maybe your body needs rest right now especially because you are pregnant and honestly I wouldn’t worry about it until after baby has come and postpartum recovery has happened. Some days when I’m really tired I make a deal with myself that I will do 10 minutes of exercise and if I’m not feeling it after 10 minutes then I just stop and try again the next day. Maybe that would work for you? Usually I just keep going after because I’m already doing it anyways but that has always helped when I lack motivation.

I’m with you on the magnesium and beef liver! Just Had the best pregnancy and delivery ever, and Pp as well since I’ve started with that 2 years ago. My 20 years of Chronic migraines are gone as well. Very thankful to have figured out this is what my body needed to thrive, on baby #5!

I love this! I started the beef liver supplements recently but I was consuming liver during my last pregnancy too and I completely agree the pregnancy was easier and the recovery was much better!

I'm interested in learning more about Catholicism. Where is a good source to look at that? I've read a lot of history about the church...that kind of puts me off, but I'm interested in the religious part.

For myself when I reverted back to Catholicism, what really drew me was the Baltimore catechism. There’s not much history in it but it really covers the basics of the Catholic faith and it’s written for lay people so it’s easy to understand. If you would like to go slightly more in depth, I would look into Rome Sweet Home by Scott Hahn, he was a Presbyterian minister who converted to Catholicism and his stuff is really good! I’ll be praying for you as you investigate!

If anyone is looking for Catholic resources for teaching your kids my favorite has been the religion series by Fr. John Laux published by Tan. It's amazing- it's simple, precise, and just packed full of gold. It's written for high schoolers but if you go through it together you can use it for middle school (I went through some of it with my 5th grader for confirmation prep) hands down amazing. The Dominican sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist have really great info on virtues (kind of like the Summa lite for kids😂) . Makes for great dinner conversations about virtues and vices!!
