Instead of calling it a “weakness” try positioning the phrase as I have an “opportunity” to improve… xyz. This shift in language is just slightly more positive and more inspiring ❤

1. Stop watching broadcast TV. 2. Stop drinking alcohol. 3. Go to the gym. 4. Go to bed earlier and wake up earlier and get more done in the daylight. 5. Go outside more. Don't be Gollum.

I learned a lot when I implemented the process of taking action steps toward a feeling-it takes me two or three tries every day before I can get out of the to-do list mode and get to the feeling level. Then I realized that action steps I took days ago are still having positive effects. It's like an energetic detox every day. I am showing up for myself in a different way, that is beyond "self-improvement" or affirmations. Worth the extra effort.

Bee- I'm so proud of you!! You are so motivational! My goals this year are to ♤Be better at conversation ♤Take a moment and be intentional (emotionally intelligent) whenever I get bothered or frustrated and want to say something rude to family or someone who strikes a nerve ♤Be respectful, humble person in general, everywhere I go ♤be interesting and be humbly confident (knowing that everyone has equal value and that humans are naturally herd animals) ♡get a community of mom friends with young kids ♡a specific goal related to parenting ◇get an office job before my birthday ◇get at least a specific salary this year ☆separate myself more from someone who brings me down when around them and focus on someone who is a good example and who I can learn from

Omg I used to do the same thing - with hiding my crooked teeth as a teen. Looking back it’s so sad that I used to hide my smile just because it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing! I did get braces but then came adult acne and I learned that there will always be something so learned to embrace acne whilst still trying to get the skin I am entitled to. ❤

Montelle, you are an absolute blessing to me. Thank you for sharing openly about your life transformation through salvation. I am looking forward to your sharing more about that in the weeks to come. I was just wondering the other day why I enjoy your channel so much, and hearing today that you are a sister in the Lord explains it so well. You are half my age, half a world away, but you speak wisdom and direction into my life. Thank you again. And God bless you!

I love the one about the environment. Made me think that it all boils down to having zero tolerance for things that could be improved. Like if we're in our childhood bedroom, yeah that's obviously a complacency that we can work on.
