What sailing certifications do you need for a trip like this?

I wasn't the captain so not exactly sure what the requirements were. We used Conch Charters BVI - there's probably info on their website.

You need a credit card that swipes and returns "Approved." For real, though, they have you fill out a sailing resume but there is no skill check. The first time we went they swiped my card and handed me the keys. If you don't feel comfortable sailing the boat you can hire a captain.
