We are presently sailing in Brazil, hopefully you might consider visiting the protected anchorage at Baia Do Aratu (S12.47, W38.27), approximately 10nm north of Salvador in the Bay of All Saints, Bahia, Brazil. It is shaped like a bowl, surrounded by low-lying hills, virtually undeveloped, probably the most protected anchorage we have ever been in, and the marina community is safe.

Still the best vids and underwater shots! There are a number of vids with full dive gear which are absolutely great don't get me wrong. It's just also nice to be able to see these free dive / snorkel shots as something I could simply get into as well as soon as I can get started. Lot's of fun to watch, thanks as always. The only time a marine creature ever attacked me was in the BVI. On the wreck of the Rhone I got too close to a Sgt Major’s house and he bit me! 😁

burned up an air tank at the Rone about 35 years ago on a bareboat charter out of Sopers Hole. t was a company called Sun Sal Charters at the time.. BVI's are much more built up now.
