I love Tibet. It's probably one of the most beautiful places i've visited in China. Really love the culture there. Also really surprised at how modern and amazing Lhasa is as a city.

Hi Lucas... I have a question about any permissions necessery to go Tibet. I live in China four years, have work visa. I would like to travel alone. I dont like be attached to any guide. Just backpack and bus traveling. Is it possible?
@dongiovanni88999 ай бұрын
local tour guide is required for foreigner when travelling between cities in Tibet, however you can roam around independently within the cities.

Amazing video. Can you drive your own car to the Mount Everest base camp instead of with a tour?
@lucasann10 ай бұрын
You can drive a big portion of the way (at least Chinese could) until you need to take the public electric buses for the last hour :)
@firstandlastname239010 ай бұрын
@@lucasann thank you! I just saw that if you drive an electric car you can drive to there. I just noticed that past the camp with black tents the road to the bottom of the Everest seems to be controled/closed

I wanted to take a moment to bring some awareness. Tibetans are the one of the most oppressed people in the world. Tibetan children are forced to assimilate and cultural genocide runs rampant. Read the human rights report. Common issues in Tibet against Tibetans include enforced disappearances, torture or cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment or punishment by the government, harsh and life threatening prison conditions, arbitrary arrest and detention, political prisoners, restrictions on freedom of expression, no freedom of religion etc. the listen goes on. Having a photo of the Dalai Lama is considered a crime. Yes, you read that right. While these vlogs these days seem to show the “happier” interactions of the tourists and vloggers, know that there are deep deep issues that you don’t see.

@@muawannabe4104 yes. I can see the blooming economy. I can also see the rich culture being strangulated. I can also see native tibetan rights being snatched away. " India is still American slave and Ghulam country "- Russian Foreign Minister.....Dalai Lama is American CIA agent so China invaded Tibet to save China and Tibet both... CIA wanted to destroy Chinese economy as well as Tibetan economy and autonomous status so China merged Tibet to save Himalayan regions... ..You can compare Kashmir and Tibet now...Tibet is 50 times more developed than Kashmir and Tibetan people are totally free..
