@@magesideHe is the only person who has presented wrestling in history that has wanted it to be big. Turner was happy coasting along, he only wanted it big because of a vendetta. If WCW won that war the wrestling business would be in a much worse state than it is Wrestling is big because of Hulk Hogan taking his Rocky 3 earnings and promoting his wrestling character and being very successful doing so and Wwe deciding to become his agency and building him even more, and then themselves more by proxy. That's why "Vince guys" are preferred. Whoever shows the most gumption to successfully promote their character and the brand overall in his eyes get the opportunity. Cesaro didn't get those opportunities because Vince was Stoopid, he didn't get those opportunities because his self promotion is non existent.

@@magesideOnly 5% of the worldwide global audience of all television watchers actively searches for wrestling. Those other companies have no interest in attracting more than that 5%, Vince aimed to get 100% in general, with varying degrees of success. WCW only attempted that to put him out of business, once that wasn't working anymore in 1998 they pretty much lost their reason for existence and plummeted. If WCW stayed smalltime they would be fine right now, but they saw Wwe at a weak ebb (mid 90s) and thought it was ripe for picking. It's great Wwf won that war, it's the only company that has ever given two craps about the rest of the world being brought in to this campy thing we all enjoy.
