Ok, I don't mean to hate comment and I hope I don't come across that way, but there are a few errors in this video 4:28 - the voice over person doesn't say the right number for pi. He says 3.1459 when it's actually 3.14159 10:23 - Johnny Galecki actually plays the cello, not the piano. Simon Helberg, however (who plays Howard), does play the piano Again, sorry if this came off as harsh. I love the show and don't like when information in incorrect.

Glad you mentioned this...The house number often appears teasingly at the edge of screen when cast members visit Wheaton's home.Gene Roddenberry took the 1701 as the Pennant Number of the Enterprise in Homage to Forbidden Planet (1956). 17:01 (5:01 pm) was the time Addams' starship entered the atmosphere of the planet Altair IV ~ a film that greatly influenced Star Trek....and Star Wars for that matter.

Big Bang Theory is definitely one of the most entertaining sitcom with young people who are holding well paying jobs except for penny. The things that they do are so realistic of people of their class and age that it is hard to differentiate between the sitcom and real life! It would be nice if they never aged and we got to watch this for another 10 years, but life moves on. Thanks Big Bang people for giving us a laugh for many years and many more to come!

A reply to my reply! You're absolutely right! I should thank the writers! I am not sure if the character of Sheldon actually has a "disability" (although he is always saying,"My mother had me tested."), but the writers certainly captured a very special kind of person. I have read, though it has never been proven, that it is thought that Einstein had a form of autism as well. I'm so pleased that I got so many likes on my first comment and I hope that in some small way, I can continue to raise awareness that many people that are autistic are VERY gifted. God doesn't make mistakes and while many choose to focus on the disability side, we have decided to focus on the gifted side! Many thanks to the writers, producers, and actors who make such a great show about people who are the beautiful, standard sitcom fair, but genuine, quirky people who make more social mistakes than the status quo. That's what makes them so endearing! Thanks again!
