Yeah, it's full of GoT throwbacks. Small girl (supposed to be like Arya) mentions her brother gave her a "sword called Needle", that "winter's coming"... Then the final battle at the tourney you have to fight Gregoire de Gorgon, also known as Gregoire of Mount Gorgon, (supposed to be Gregoire Clegane aka "The Mountain" in GoT). He even fights with a long two-handed sword too. In the fist fight/brawls quests around the city, you end up fighting Brienne (a competitor only revealed as a woman after the fight like in the first intro sequence of hers you see her in GoT - same name, large and tall woman, same hair style and color), there's also a mention of Jon Snow's Sword (Long claw), and on Skellige there are "sky cells" with a dead dwarf that looks like Tyrion in it. I'm sure there's more references even beyond those too.

I can add one small (fun) detail to a side quest in toussaint.... if you find the group of drunk sculpture builders BEFORE unlocking the Lebioda mission. The group isnt drunk and asleep yet. Theyve just started drinking by the bridge... and they start a fight with you for interrupting them. After you beat a few of the guys in combat the supervisor steps in and says the party is over and theyll head to work. Then they leave the area. I thought this was a fun twist.

There's a minor detail regarding one of the tourney participants from Nilfgaard (I forgot who). If in the main story you allowed Radovid to live and Emhyr to die, there will be a letter in the knight's tent mentioning Emhyr's demise and alluding to the possibility the knight is a half-brother (?) of Emhyr.

One thing is that if you go through all of the side areas and find dead knights throughout toussant, a lot of them are dead trying to impress the same woman. IIRC you eventually can find her body as well. I just can't remember her name. But I thought it was rather interesting. Another one is that on one of the farms you find a werewolf. Eventually you also kill his wife, who is a werewolf as well. The crazy thing is that you can find the story of them getting evicted, and he went back for revenge, the farm was actually theirs in the first place and he was there to get revenge. Even crazier is that you can find letters from nearby bandits mentioning that some of their buddies have gone missing in the area, killed by the werewolf.

In the mission "till death do you part" when you go to collect your reward the man who issued the contract says that there was a man shouting odriin, this is a reference to the witcher 2 because there's a side quest in which some NPCs shout odrin a lot which was pretty annoying

There is actually a difference between cutcenes if you choose Geralt of Rivia or Ravix of Fourhorn. Either a knight/prince from Rivia shows up, or a different knight is displeased with you. This all during the tourney quest.

The part with the dutchess having two different coloured gems is also referering to how detlaff Can't kill syanna if she has the red ribbon, so if she is spared and then you convince her to forgive her sister it will be that colour. I love how intricate all these choices that you make in the game are actually meaningful. I have over 275hrs put into this game and i will never get tired of playing because of this.

There's also multiple Man of La Mancha references throughout Toussant. In the story, Don Quixote sets off on a quest to win the favor of his true love (dulcinea) he ends up fighting a windmill which he believes to be a giant. Not only is Dulcinea's windmill where you fight Golyatbut he's also a giant that pops out of a windmill (or runs through it but close enough) and Guillaume is a love crazed madman trying to attack a giant to win his love's favor.

I have a couple more little nods to the books too! You can meet the cousin of Reynart (Geralt’s knights friend from lady of the lake) at the tournament! But there’s no dialogue :( also the cottage the wight and spoon quest is called “de trastamara hunting cottage” and the baron de trastamara was the one Milva was involved with during lady of the lake in toussaint!

The Warble of a Smitten Knight could be a reference to Swan Lake much like in the first game there was a quest that referenced Beauty and the Beast. which is the only other time Geralt managed to break a curse with true love which would explain why geralt is surprised that it worked. Vivienne is basically princess Odette and Guillaume de Launfal is prince siegfried.

Nothing overly interesting but a small detail - after the ending of the main questline, you can find mass of burning bodies in the arena (smoke is seen from afar). My guess is they are victims of the Night of the Long Fangs.

The best easter egg in game is when you do the side quest where you save the barber in Toussaint from thugs in a cave. When you visit the barber after the quest is done he offers a fourth hairstyle, besides the usualt three. Geralt goes Toussaint fashionable and its hilarious!

If u get the good ending and the city is destroyed and wait a couple of ingame weeks/months (fast travelling to and from Kaer Morhen works best), the city will be restored as normal, but also, Guilliame and Vivianne can be found in the city, I've seen them in the outdoor market, and also outside the armorers shop.

Just found another detail, but on Skellige Don't know if this is something special, but i discovered an elevator today that brings you up to the kaer trolde bridge. Just go down the stairs right next to the Signpost and you will find it

@@xLetalis ah as i thought :) i find more and more details the longer i play For exmple, during the Quest Shock Therapy, where you are supposed to scare the druid. He will sit at the bonfire warming his hands, and when you extinguish it, he will give you the finger 😅 So much effort put into the game. Unfortunately i also discover more game breaking bugs. Like the signs being bugged. Piercing cold still not fixed, aard not dealing any shockwave damage, or signs not scaling properly with euphoria... Also, NPCs / objects sometimes just float in the air. But that only started recently :( I would call it a flawed masterpiece. Some errors could have been easily fixed in some patch, but never did, especially the sign stuff since magic becomes useless after level 70

Not necessarily, if you do Guillaume's quest but don't transfer the curse he doesn't get laid and still lives, and you can buy the ribbon instead of playing gwent for it :)

I don't know if you know this or not but, you know the painting of geralt you get from "A portrait of the witcher as an old man" quest, irregardless you bought the painting or not, you can actually find your own portrait hanging in a brothel north of beuclair harbor. I think the name of the brothel is "belles of beuclair" but I could be wrong because I play the game on turkish. Anyways, I thougt it was a cool detail when I first saw it.

idk if anyone knows that but I found out in my 7th playthrough that when you go to whoreson’s hideout you don’t need to kill them all to get to whoreson. I somehow had a dialogue Choice to go through a secret passage to whoreson... I can’t believe you can do that never had that choice before
