Andrew; This was GREAT! I don't know where to begin but I'll have a go anyway. All of your projects are perfect for new homeowners who buy old homes and then fix them up. I don't know which part of the outdoor project show is my favorite: the Shed, the Deck, the fence, however the cleanup in the beginning with getting rid of the overgrown flora and removing the damaged old fence certainly resonates since Ida hit here (LA) last fall. Only just now (May 29th) have I gotten someone in to begin the mucking out of the debris, the neighbors bamboo which blew down on me and my poor fence replaced when Katrina hit! Ive gotta say at 75+ years, I do not relish that type of work anymore so Im hiring young blood to take care of it. It just takes such a long time. Your project looked effortless because your brother was with you for much of it and I loved that. Hope you will introduce him to your audience. I look forward to the shed as I am seriously considering having one erected. Thank you for your due diligence in making these videos and I will continue to "Like, and Comment" I'm already subscribed and I learned not to keep doing that as I apparently unsubscribe you every other time! How awful. Take care. Remember, when you do your next fixer upper, you won't make so many learning errors, but your brother may move out of town on you if you don't credit him with his good humor and able assistance. 😁

Hey Patrick! First off, appreciate the support! Also, I hear you on the hurricane damage. My mom is from LA and we had some family move in with us after Katrina...So I know what kind of damage you might be dealing with. And you are very right about my brother - he has been a huge help with some of the bigger projects. I'll see what he thinks about getting a formal introduction lol. Thank you so much for the support and good luck with you projects!

Great video. DIY is all about trying new things. Mistakes help you learn. One thing I'd have done differently is the holes on the bottom post for the wire. These could've been straight holes which would've made the nuts sit flush against the post instead of at the angle. Would've just looked tidier.

Andrew, I just watched this long one today. I just realized that your DIY Shed is probably too small for all the equipment acquisitions in which you are heavily invested. I thinking the jack hammers, concrete mixer, power washer and hundreds of tools! And racks and benches for the small items. The crimper used on the deck reminds me of a work-out tool we all bought in the 1950s which we would crimp with our hands to build strength in our arms! Clever you getting a working tool to replace it! On the fence part, I think I would have faced the side fence to face the yard since it backs up to an existing and matching fence next door. A void gets to enjoy the pretty sides of both! It could have served as a focal point for some gardening - maybe an English flower bed - just an idea. Enjoy

Did you know that the side that the fence ribs are on indicate that that neighbour did not pay for the fence? You already had a wooden fence that indicated that the people you bought from had paid for that fence (the smooth board side is facing you).
