How refreshing to hear a real voice with original research. Actually learned something new (that bit about California regulations) and could feel your personality come thru. Congrats and thanks!

10:16 That purple thing has to be an artist's rendition of a non-existent shape because I've never seen it before.

No mention of Hemi V8s. 10:22: That's a 413 "Ramcharger." Note staggered carbs.

That Dodge would run you around 14,000 dollars today. A LOT MONEY back then.

Wasn't the Seneca the entry level full-size Dodge in 1960? My brother owned one with the 225 c.i. slant-six and three speed column shifter.

Whoever is doing the voice-over is astonishingly good! This is my first time here. I'll be back. (BTW...Dodge pronounced "Polara" with a flat "a" in the middle. poh-LAIR-uh. It SHOULD be pronounced the way it is here, but...) ;-)

Revenge spending!?? NOT!! Revenge not much involved, more a celebration of peace and prosperity.

1931 Dodge coupe design description is utter bullshit.

I don’t know anything about it. What are the salient points that the description misses?

I’ll always prefer Dodge’s oddball 1961 Phoenix convertible over the lower tier Polara. The reverse fins made it a stand out but it was never popular and production only lasted a year.

Excellent video, however, you'll find the 1949 Dodge was equipped with a Fluid Drive transmission. Only Plymouth had the 3-speed manual.

@@American.legends Some times I ramble..Dodge, DeSoto and Chrysler used Fluid Drive since 1941. Powerflite was introduced very late in the 1953 model year and was used thru 1956, other than in Adventurer, Chrysler and Imperial when Torqueflite was introduced mid-1956, and became available thru the line-up in 1957. Interestingly, Powerflite remained available in Plymouth and Dodge thru 1960 as did the flathead 6.

Now i heard that a Chinese corporation had bought Chrysler. Is this truth?
@cuda426hemi11 минут бұрын
Who cares? It hasn't been USA owned for decades. Plus I don't think China would be interested in loser technology as they are committed 100% to EVs and are already waay ahead, killing it in that market.
