Jazakum Allahu Khair, wallahi it was a beautiful discussion with some very profound points. I would say one think though in terms of Saudi Arabia, I am sure that there is a great deal of excellent Islamic knowledge and practising peoples there as the Ustadh mentioned, as he of course lived there. But personally, I would find it very difficult to live under such a corrupt and evil government that aids the war in Yemen and in many other countries (Libya, the dictatorship in Egypt etc), and that will no doubt join the Emirates in their agreements and ties with “Israel”. May Allah be in the aid of every Muslim facing oppression.

You shouldn’t backbite a government- especially when your implying the countries of kafirs are better. Don’t get it twisted Saudi isn’t a representative of a perfect Islamic country. However I swear by Allah every Muslim country is better than the countries of the kafireen. The uk doesn’t apply any Islamic law. Doesn’t support hijab to any extent. Doesn’t have the same level of masjids. There are more practicing people in Saudi, and more masjids. Less corruption. Wallahi the arrogance in that statement is crazy.

Women are not there in classes because they're being stopped by their husbands. As soon as they get married, it's as if the wife is a servant inside the house. The furthest thing from religion.

I blame culture and the insecure control freak nature some men have. I've heard of girls including the girl I used to like dropping out university to get married. It might not help them in the future financially unless their husband is financially stable. I could say culture and education of parents might link to this but I won't guarantee that. There's some men who are insecure to let their wives learn or go out to learn or do certain things. Don't know if it's their insecure and trust issue they have

@@zaink7037 when it comes to learning the deen I doubt any Muslim has a problem with that but seeking knowledge such as math, science and etc, I can see why many men fear their wives learning this stuff in the west. This is because of the strong feminism ideal that is being taught in schools for which men don’t want their wives to be affected by والله اعلم

My dad is a very good man alhamdulillah but sometimes he’ll argue cuss and leave my mum feeling alone. Please pray for my dad to have more sifa and mercy for my mother. Nd pray that my mum prays more 5 times a day so she doesn’t always feel alone and cry. Inshallah I will be a much better husband with the help of Knowledge as the guidance of Allah.

Salaam little brother or sister. Hope that everything is going ok. How are you though? You too must be quite torn inside. It must be draining and sad to see your mums tears. I went through the exact same things. In the end though it was healthy for my parents to separate. Our home situation was quite abusive though...so for my mums safety, it was better for them to be apart. My advices is...try to remain strong. Spend time with her, cooking, watching television, listening to her.... She is no doubt feeling low. Go for walks with her, fresh air will help her mental health and it's good bonding time for you both! Your mum must not lose her identity. Encourage her to have hubby's and encourage her to have good righteous friends and family around her. The mind can become quite isolated... Some people are just grumpy people and will always look for conflict. They will look for a reaction. If your mum is able to ignore and carry on with her daily life, then Alhumdulilah for that! Sometimes people take out frustrations because they themselves are going through things. Try speaking to your dad. Try to tell him that the cussing does nothing except take away your mums sins. His book of deeds? What does he think it will say on the day of judgement? Stay lose to both parents..however, if your dad begins to show disturbing behaviour as in raises his hand, then don't let your mum take that. Try to tell someone you can trust. The memory of my mother being beaten will never go away. Anyway, on a good note, my mum is very happy! We always have a laugh and a joke. I watch her cooking channels sat with her and we do gardening together! Stay strong. You and your family are in my prayers. Stay close to Allah swt. Allah Halifaz:)

@@abdulahad-sc5ti ...my father passed away earlier this year quite suddenly. Memories of childhood are not that great. When I came to see that things were not fair, I spoke against my father. We had a love and hate relationship because we also were neglected. I always ask Allah to place him in the highest place in Jannah and to forgive him. But, I still see the love my mother had and still has for him will never ever change or become diluted. She reached out to him on many occassion. My father I believe loved her too, however the desires and pressures of the duniya clouded his judgement. He didnt see the gem that was infront of him...she was an absolute rock when he hit a low. We never want to hurt our parents. But we can't stay quiet either....thinking that it is better to hope it will get better. Use your tongue to gently guide your father. Find a time when there are no distractions...and then just be honest. There may be something troubling him and he may share it with you. I forgive my father but I cannot forget. My mum had years and years of mental and physical abuse until she herself said 'no'. Whatever years are left now, I want my mum to be the happiest ever! I joke to her about my father saying 'don't worry mum, in Jannah you will the PERFECT version of dad!' Sorry for the long reply. There are many living a lie. And sabr is the key, however our prophet Mohammed was a true leader and protector of womens rights (mental and physical) My mother was resilient for so long. And there are many that will be resilient enough and have sabr and they will be rewarded....as sometimes it's just moody mardy couples bickering! Use your own intuition, Gauge your mothers mental health, her voice, her body language. Dont live in fear. Dont allow her confidence become so low that she is left an empty shell of her former self. Yes, have a deep think. Alas, my father did not listen to me. He did not think he was going to die either. We all hope to be together in Jannah one day where I will tell him off! I miss him. I just wish that there were happier times back then....which is why new memories are being created today Alhumdulilah!!!! Apologies again for the long message. Stay safe. Big hug to your beautiful mother!!! Allah hafiz
