I think that in Iron Assault, the USSR and Russia are very overestimated. They are usually attacked. If you take the map of 1936, then Germany, Japan, China are attacking, and in Asia the USSR and Russia have a weak army, and for this reason the Asian part usually immediately retreats to the attacker. If we take the map of the modern world, Russia usually makes an alliance with China, and they are attacked by an alliance from France, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, sometimes Poland. According to this, the USSR and Russia are among the most difficult countries.

I know the Netherlands isn’t a great power, but MAN I think it’s really underrated. >Starts off with 1 ship >Starts off with indonesia You can spam ships and basically set up shop in Southeast Asia, eventually you will simply too cancerous to stop. Another thing you can do is save up your 10 recourses and hope the U.K attacks Ireland. This will open them up for invasion which assuming all their troops are in Ireland would be easy to pull off. Then spam boats with those 17 recourses you now have. You basically stole their land trough their own error. So much fun every time.

Some critism. 1:The USSR if anything is one of the hardest major country to play as. You can get attacked from Europe to Asia, and it's one of the country that get targeted the most unless you can play it diplomatically. 2:The US is like the USSR but a bit better. Once you take Canada or Mexico you will be too weak to take over your other neighbors+ you can easily get ganged up by the Mexican and Canadian. 3: Germany is harder than the USSR as you're under constant threat of the British and French. And although you can take out most of your neighbors, they'll inflict heavy casualties on your troops, on top of that you start out as the worst early game ideology. 4:UK should be first place, you can get more troops than USSR if you merge everything and since you're an island you can get a big navy and chill. 5:Same as the UK difference is you gotta be a bit more careful but you can take out Spain easily early game and secure a decent economy. 6:I agree with most of these things. Just like UK you can secure naval dominance but you can also dominate Asia really easy if you play your cards right. 7:I agree with most of it but like Germany your neighbors can take a toll on your army. Thankfully you're too far away for Japan to be a threat as most of the time their attention is toward China. And if anything India is one of the few countries capable of challenging Japan alongside Australia. 8:Italy should be moved up. France isn't even a threat most of the time as they're mainly focused on Germany. As for Ethiopia it's better to make peace and ship those troops to Italy for a stronger army, you can get around 70 troops easily and snatch Spain if you're lucky as they're not far away. Only problem is the fact you start out as the worst early game ideology. 9:China shouldn't even be on this list tbh. If you overexpand you'll be an easy target for Japan. You also start with a pathetic economy and the worst ideology for early game. 10:I agree with Brazil and although it suffers the German's treatment. Barely anyone cares about what happens in south america so you'll be fine. I know those are your opinion I just wanted to do some criticism

Problem here: No one will ever use the european, asian and world map, instead they would do their own custom maps with their own OP and Trash nations, so this video is quite usefull only if those maps are picked (wich will never happen)

@@AdvancedGamer- the 1936 maps, will either it be European, Asian or Entire World aren't used as maps in the game, the last one used ONLY to make custom made maps such idk TNO, Kaiserreich, Some random made custom map, modern and so on The 1936 maps are always forgotten if not used to make custom maps that's why this video can't be used for 99.99% of the game exept for those few exeptions

I personally think modern day China is the strongest due to the fact in peking you have 8 troop but close to that you have a 18 troop and even close to that a 15 troop and if you use the 10 resources from the start of the game to make the 8 a 18 and put them all together you get like 60 imagine how strong they could be if you merged all troops

USSR isn't really easy to play, you'll get invaded early if you're going against players (Germany usually), let me explain The USSR is so big that its troops take very long to mobilize, and the Germans will take little casualties if they're just tearing apart your 1 battalion-divisions, they can simply march to Moscow and Stalingrad and easily destroy you The way to stop this from happening is to bring one of your starting ships to German mainland so you can simply take over their country if they try to invade you

Its not a good nation as its surrounded by good nations like Germany, France and Italy. The best it can do invading wise is invading austria and liechenstein, then run into a bigger corner as now its surrounded by more nations such as hungary, czech and yugoslavia. The only way you can see success is if A, the people playing the better nations arent experienced or B, waiting a stupidly long time to see an opening, and even then its not guranteed as it could be an AI controlling it

best country : portugal why ? 1. Navy . I Used Navy And Stopped A Global Power From Attacking Me (Twice) ((UK , USA)) 2. Neigbours -- Portugal Borders Spain (Which Is In A Civil War) 3. Land -- Remember that if the map is 1770 . (which it prob wont be) you own brazil , macau and a lot others . and brazil is in 10th but portugal starts with owning 2 countrys . use this as advantage 4 NOBODY CARES -- some people are good at specific countrys this is just how i play
