@ trust me bro do as like to make an army you have to first design the leadership of the army like the general in command of the armed forces and officers and for your country to have better commanders and officers you need to have better military education system and after you choose your army leadership you can start getting units and to attack or defend you need to create a frontline before (this off topic but can you please shorten the cost number like instead of it saying 4000000 dollars just make it say 4M it’s easier for the eye)

Tension is caused by nations doing things like sending ultimatums and declaring wars through their focus trees. Basically: The more world tension = The more easier it is to form alliances and justify war goals

Just found this video at a perfect time: I'm currently working on a simplified grand strategy game of my own. It's not designed to rival RON; I can barely even play it, even though my co-owners and staff can, but it's designed to be a different take on the general genre. It's much more similar to Dummynation Multiplayer really, but it has its own unique charm and features. It's more of for newer people to the genre, since this type of game is very hard to get started in, albeit it still isn't very easy to learn. Still, you can learn it's rules and mechanics in a page of instructions. So, overall it's definitely not aiming for RON success, but I think it would be neat if you checked it out in the future when it's out of testing.

i doubt you'll play it but even if you do just a little note that its not video material; the game is rather simple and the army mechanics are basic. i like to focus on diplomacy whenever i play and the game doesnt have much action to comment on most of the time. that and its also in alpha, but still.

Iron Assault has many broken provinces. Minsk, South Vietnam, Sweden, UAE, and Khartoum are literally uninteractable with neighbouring provinces. This just brings border gore. Plus, the game never updates. The last update was 2 and a half years ago, which only was a new map for Spain.

I just wanted to say, 1. pretty sure tension is just stability. 2. rankings is easy to find if you know how to play the game, its just not as easy as that but then again rankings in RoN isn't great either and doesn't really matter. 3. I like how its per day instead of per 5 days. 4. the GUI is def alot better and modern than RoN, although its partially because RoN is old. 5. I love the change flag option and nation color. RoN was seriously lacking in country customization. 6. I like how you can choose government too, RoN was lacking there. 7. If RoN doesnt start actually working on their game and adding some of these features, this game will 100% surpass RoN if people actually find it, which I'm sure they will.

The main issue Art Of Diplomacy might face is a lack of simplicity compared to RON. A large portion of the RON players play because it's a simpler and dumbed down yet still fun and effective version of other grand strategy games.
