As an Indian, I was extremely surprised and happy when she started eating the rice with her hands. Thats the traditional way to eat it in India, (especially down south where I am from), and it was a very nice gesture. Love to see it!! :D

Just a small trick, when using the microwave oven, put a wet paper towel over the food you are cooking, I won't be as dry & it keeps the oven clean, no splatters.

I think the Kimbo one is already passed the expiry date. It's printed on the package that it will be expired on 12 apr 2022 and the video was uploaded on 17 sept 2022. I hope that you were making this video right before the expiry date is due.

At least in the US, food often has a sell-by date, when it is most delicious, and also an expiration date, when it may no longer be good to eat. Often people don't understand the difference. Making it more difficult are canned goods, that often are still perfectly fine until the can is damaged or the seal is broken. They can often last years, even (though with caution) decades after expiration date. Bottled waters often have an expiration date, but that's when the plastic itself starts to weaken, not the water going bad

The roasted eel looks the most delicious . In Thailand we try to use catfish instead of Japanese eels. The tests is interesting I have to say it's not the same but also it's not bad and quite tasty.

Haha, I'm not sure how Asian M&S Tarka Dhal soup is, it doesn't look very authentic to tarka dal with carrots it 😂. Having said that it does sound like a nice soup for the winter so I might get some to try when I'm next near an M&S. I also dread to think what Dancing Bacon's microwave smells like after doing this, especially after the eel!

I've watched a lot of these videos now, and I'm still surprised by beans being used in desserts and sweet foods. I can't think of a single British sweet dish that uses beans- they're always put in soups, stews and stuff like that. even the so-called pease pudding is savoury.

In Asia, it's common I guess for us to make desserts from beans. Even we do have dessert made from rice, like the black rice. Yummy! Black rice porridge, it is sweet and tasty, the coconut milk+pandan leaves as the sauce, with the hint of salt. 😍
