Your tutorial was great! I did mine with twist under the wrap as opposed to box braids, but haven't seen many doing that. Is the box braids a better method?

YOU DID SUCH A NICE JOB! Just curious as to why u dip them in hot water?? I know its good for hair but what does dipping yarn in hot water do?

+Keia Davison Hi Keia: It allows for flexibility of the yarn locs. When they are first done, the locs are a little stiff and may not fall as you want. So similar to braids, you may want to dip them in hot water so they fall the way you want them to.
