Shane you seem like such a lovely person. This video made me lol :) Please post more! I just watched Bridegroom and am in tears. I write to you from Dublin, Ireland where (as I'm sure you know) we recently voted YES to Marriage Equality in Ireland! YAY. It was wonderful. It has started many conversations within families across Ireland about being gay and what it means to love when before there was only silence. My heart breaks knowing the circumstance you found yourself in after your partner's tragic death. I am truly envious of the love you shared and even though he has passed please know that you will carry that love with you in everything that you do for the rest of your life. It is part of you. I'm now very proud of my country for becoming a more equal place for all. Ireland was once (and still is to some extent) a very religious, oppressed, conservative country so I truly believe if it can happen here it will eventually happen everywhere. And it is stories like yours that will help people realise how important it is to recognise equality for all! Apologies for ranting here (I don't usually post youtube comments) but I just wanted to make contact with you, give a little awkward wave and say thanks :) Z xx PS Walking or running on the beach makes me happy. This was great, Shane! Personally, I like to write down how I feel, pouring it all out on paper. (I think writing it is much more effective than typing it.) Running/ Working out (so, getting up and moving around) definitely lifts my mood as well. Also, I think surrounding yourself with friends and family is also a good way to lift your spirits and be happier. This made me smile! What a great bunch of people!
