One of my cars I own, a 2001 crown Victoria with the 4.6, has 450k miles on it. I have rebuilt the engine twice now. It’s super reliable.

This is actually a pretty good list. I have 400,000 miles on my 96 Chevy Caprice with the original 4.3 V8 engine (yes 4.3 V8) never rebuilt, and original 4L60E transmission, never rebuilt. The Ford 4.6 SOHC, especially the earlier models up until 1998, can go well over 500,000 with just timing chains. Our family also owns several GM 3800 Impala's.

So... they're gonna over look the Chrysler 170ci, 198ci, 225ci Slant 6 engines, the Chrysler A-series (& later known as the LA "Lightweight A-series engines)- which powered Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth from the late 50s up till the early 2000s, with the V10 a variant of a 318 small block with 2 extra cylinders?, or the 3.9 Liter version which was a 318 with 2 less cylinders, the LA motors were- 273, 318, 340, & 360 cubic inch displacements, & in the 70s was nicknamed: The Elephant Killer (killer of the 426 hemis), & it's next generation variants shared in the 3rd gen hemis' designs... Or how about the Honda D Series or B- series engines?... the D15, D16, B16, B18C were great reliable engines... & Honda's F22s, H22, ect... I known quite a few Hondas D Series, & F series motors that lasted well over 400,000 miles. I got a 1986 Dodge ram d150 "State truck" that had over 400k miles on the engine (stock bottom end), the Transmission got replaced 3 times, & the rear differential got replaced once. 😂😆
@BackyardClunkers77Ай бұрын
Or the Chevy iconic "350 small block"? I got one in a 94 gmc/ chevy blazer with 306,000 on its odometer. These engines were the "go-to" Hot rodders choice for the earlier hotrod cars, for almost a century.

It's not AI at all. Don't you know that only a real human being would know that the Buick V6 is called the "Three Thousand Eight Hundred"? An AI might have called it a "Thirty Eight Hundred" or something weird like that. And don't get me started on "pound feet" of torque. "elbee eftees" is the proper term, everybody knows that.
