Hi Lucy! Nice video, as always. However, I don't understand why you say that the pronunciation of library is "laibri" but in the official pronunciation tool of Google it says "laibruhree" for British Engilsh and "laibrehree" for American English. Is this difference with your pronunciation because of the different pronunciations in different regions?

What's the difference in pronunciation between 'Century' and 'Sentry'? In both cases, we all incorrectly pronounce the (t) sound as the (ch) sound. The only other difference is the length of the (er) sound, which is actually just one pure vowel sound represented by the letter 'R'. There is some lip pursing and volume modulation that we can do to make it seem as if the 'r' can behave as a consonant but it's still just the (er) sound like in 'dirt'.

Even reaching fluency is hard to understand some words you say, but I found your channel these days and decided to challenge myself to understand british accent. 7M-English: 'wrd', 'wrk', 'wrld'. One letter per speech sound ALWAYS! Did you know the letter 'L' represents a vowel sound in the word 'world'? Yes, the letter 'L' is sometimes just a vowel 'scold', sometimes just a consonant 'lift' and sometimes both 'sailing' & 'please'. Well, it's just near impossible to get the (ul) sound removed between the 'p' and the consonant 'L'. What's neat is that you only need one letter for these two sounds.
