So many people have completely ignored the game Super Dragon Ball Z for PS2. That game actually had Street Fighter developers who worked on it and it has a manga-centric art style. It had unique traits for characters that weren't in any other game, like Mystic Gohan using a sword and Adult Chichi who is never playable in anything else. Also Cyborg Frieza has a rocket launcher which is just insane lmao.

Fusions is extremely underrated, I feel it definitely deserves a sequel someday, it had a HUGE amount of characters and fusions, even Bra of all characters was playable, I would say I had more fun with it than I did with Heroes on Switch, the main thing I want for a sequel is more characters from Ball, GT and Super, especially Ball, and to work on how to obtain characters, because for a game with a large cast, aiming to get them all can be annoying

Attack of the Saiyans has to be my favorite, hands down. Not very popular by any means but I’ve yet to see anyone who’s played it end up unhappy. It’s really peak Dragon Ball RPG gameplay. And the sprite work is very dynamic and visually appealing!

This was a solid list brother, I feel like the raging blast series should've gotten an honorable mention at least, and even though final bout wasn't great the music was awesome, not hating or anything just throwing my 2 cents in

Dragon Ball Z: Legendary Super Warrior for the Game Boy Color is an underrated gem. Easy to play but hard to master. It was tough but rewarding with the level of details in some areas. Although not perfect in areas of what was covered, and the translation is interesting to say the least. Definitely something that a Sixth grade me in 2002, enjoyed a lot. Not a bad sound track either

Raging Blast 2. It updated bt3's gameplay and had some awesome fanservice (LSS3 Broly boi!), Dragon Ball Heroes for switch also offers a lot of that. I am kinda surprised that you did not include Kakarot. Super Saiya Densetsu for SNES is also a classic.

Fun fact, Dragon Ball FighterZ was the biggest game at Evolution in 2018. For those of you who don't know, that is the biggest fighting game tournament of the year. I remember how hype seeing this game at played at the finals. Everybody screaming at Cell's intro. lol

I'd say Budokai 3 is the best DB game in my opinion but if Burst Limit was actually finished with a Buu Saga implemented that would take the cake for me. I'd say that game has the best DB graphics out of anything game we have out even today and it would have been a fantastic successor to Budokai 3 since they play so similarly. I'm still praying to this day that we get a Burst Limit 2 with the same engine cause that game was GODLY

When my younger sister was born in 2000 I lost tv rights so i didn't catch the 2nd half of the buu saga. The game's and mini figures I brought over the years filled in all gaps for me until I was 18 and rewatched the entire series. I'll never forget the times where me and my friends were all hanging out,me stoned and the rest of them on coke / mdma etc and they'd demand we play bt3 /rb2.None of them knew what db was at all so was really heart warming them becoming curious and asking about characters and what not. My personal db game's are as followed: Db Advanced Adventure ( incredibly underated ) Budokai 2 BT 2/3 LOG 2 / Buu's Fury The only game's in the entire insane library of db game's I disliked are : Log1 / battle of z / ultimate tenkaichi / Gt Transformation

Personally I wish they would make another fusions game. I really enjoyed the premise behind that. I would even be fine with a switch port where they added tournament of power and broly characters.

it's true what you said Geekdom. My older brother and dad were big fans of Dragon Ball. They watched all the episodes as they came out, it was their bonding time. But this was in the 90's. Sometime in the early 2000's, maybe 2004 or '05, I was 4 or 5, and I KNEW my brother and dad were fans of Dragon Ball. I knew the history. They had a couple VHS tapes, sure, but the first time I experienced Dragon Ball was Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. I just remember my first experience being, going to my dad's for the weekend and my brother having that game, playing it. I loved it. That would be my first experience with Dragon Ball. I was able to understand and see the characters as my dad and brother saw them. And then, of course, we'd get more home releases, DBZ would rerun, stuff like that, but Budokai 3 was the first one, man. When I think about the earliest childhood memories of mine, it's playing that game with my dad and brother. It helps make Dragon Ball special to me personally.

I grew up with Budokai and really learned the story of Z through it and as time went on I became obsessed with Budokai 2. Then as a teenager I received a Wii along with Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3 for Christmas one year and obsessed over them. To this day my favorite Dragon Ball game is tied between Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and Budokai. Does anyone have a strong opinion on whether or not Kakarot is worth playing? I work full time, have two kids and a wife, and I'm currently back in school so I have very little free time for video games but I've definitely wondered if Kakarot would be worth what little time I'd be able to spend on it.

It's a great game. I think it should be on the list in fact, as it's Legacy of Goku but actually good (legacy of goku had terrible combat and weird concepts... Goku struggling against snakes and wolves, really?). Geekdom seems to have some sort of gripe towards the game, but it really is one of the best DBZ games out there.

Man, I really enjoyed the Legacy of Goku games. I'd have done some things differently if I could have had a say in production, but they were solid fun for back in the day.
