I've got a couple thousand cards, mostly from late 80's thru 90's. Many of my packs are still sealed. I'm not a fan of bb, so I don't know the players and every time I think about researching my cards, I just don't know where to start. When a card says like "203 of 500"...that means they only made 500 of that card, right?

Nice !! I have 2 mike trout 2011 topps update . Not graded though . I started collecting again for my kids so they could have them when they get older, so i started looking up prospects and came across mike trout while everyone was talking about bryce harper, so i grab bis cards when they came out, they were only a couple dollars at first . I have paul goldschmidts, anthony rizzo, freddie freeman and a few others . I hope pauls becomes as valuable . Nice cards and thanks for the positive feedback on Trout's card .

Disliked bc these numbers are totally off in current prices, a psa grade 10 89 griffey just sold for 53$ most of the cards were probably sold when grading first came out. Also the 93 nolan ryan refractor card psa 10 book value is 8000$ but you can get them cheaper

So I got a 2003 jose Contreras playoff prestige rookie card and I don't know anything about sports but it says SAMPLE in silver on the back of card and only has 1 row of stats says Cuban league baseball career statistics but it says Yankees on front and has him in his Yankees jersey can anybody tell me any info on this card or a couple other cards I got that are raw but near mint I also got John elways college card from upper deck [ 2011 UD college football legends ] and a lot of cards with seriel numbers like Robert Thomas rookie card 240/400....Peter Warrick y2k legend 0019/2000 and a toppsGold Jim Mc Namara card #395 [ Giants ] 1993 ] only 10 made I heard ??

the bat and clothing cards are bs, they say 1 out of whatever the amount is but the amount of pieces they can take out from a bat is ridiculous all they have to do is start one series of that card 1 out 20 and keep making different card series until theres no more pieces left of the bat so theres nothing special about those cards

Well, you're not missing anything by not including the Uribe Card. That deal was mostly a spoof and in some cases, a scam to get money for a card worth maybe a nickel. I looked at sold ones on ebay and some people did pay several hundred dollars for a Uribe card with one guy paying $2k for one. I guess it goes to show, there is a sucker born every minute lol.
