You can also cause a cactus doll to spawn on your island, just like the plant slime doll. All you have to do is plant a bunch of cacti close together and wait. One will eventually appear. (For the plant slime doll, you plant a bunch of flowers together and wait)

I have been reading that even if you make a one bed private room for the Builder, Malroth will still sleep in there if your not using it. Is that really true? Ben, you should really consider a new video compilation on all rare obtains with consideration to patches that block item duplication. I've tested it fairly thoroughly. No dice. I don't know about the "other" method though via "friends," but I'm not far enough into the game to test it out (just finished the pyramid...this game takes a LONG time to play, but worth it).

that uber falcon blade is very cryptic. how do i supposed to learn that on my own? I would be placing 50 books just fine and found out about it as I progress. but swapping a cursed blade with a blade that strike twice is very strange indeed. anyway thanks for making this, I love it

it's a call back to a glitch in the original famicom DQ2. I forget how it worked, you had to equip the cursed blade on your main character while dead, then transfer between party members, putting the falcon blade in for the dead character, and it became over powered. Something like that, anyway.

Man, I didn't even know about the cactus plush. That's way too hidden. Apparently you can get more by planting cacti on the Isle of Awakening, as it has a small chance of spawning, at least if you plant a lot.

Fun fact, actually found the unicorn bunny on complete accident by busting down the wall from the outside at total random. I honestly didnt feel like doing the dungeon cause i just wanted to get through the moonbrooke island but then i stumbled across this little guy and then i felt bad and wanted to find the secret the normal way so i just went and did the thing normally XD

Hey Lena if you haven't gotten the cannon yet, you should play through the story first. All items unlock after that. And you can take screenshots from the pause menu, theres a circle below the menu with a camera icon.

Hi Ben! I missed the thunderbolt blade at the pot and finished the game. Now Im having a lot of struggles making the purple skeletons to appear (i hardly can find one every 5 minutes or so) and the drop rate is really really low. Any tips you could spare? There is hardly any info about this! Love your videos, I've been seeing a lot of them since the game came out outside of japan!

@@amsxXxevo8 The pot containing the blade happens at Malhalla, yes. You can pick it up there. However, the purple skelletons that drop them appear very rarely on the 3000 affinity islands!

Took me a while to realise this but you need a door on the same block level as the throne itself. So if you have doors on the entrance and one on the same level as the throne (1 block higher) the room will link and register as one x

Yeah that's what my mate did too. But you can have a huge beautiful throne room with multiple levels I had a throne room door as the entrance then 1 block up on the left of the throne (where the carpet was) had a door to the kingly bedroom. It looks nice and fully registers as a room. Quite the puzzle but you can have multilayered rooms x

They'll drop from metal slimes (one in the cave of Khrumbul-Dun - near the crossroads) one in a cave on Moonbrooke, one on the flower and lake explorer's shores and one on the ash/skull one.
