You can change the weather to a thunderstorm. By changing your system's date to Nov 1st to spawn Pikachu in the 1st wild area. Keep walking along the left hand side until you come to a log where you'll find a random tm in a yellow pokeball

@@BenXC yes that i had done.. but well...yes iam not so good in english i doesnt had understand that the fluid ordner MUST be the same as at you. AND...i dont know why, but at my the spacing from the first fluid to the first block is smaller then yours (it must because with the same distance i get poison haha) but now it works

Awesome work, Ben! Quick question do these tools work with the Switch version of the game? Also, can I use them to handle textures from DQB1? I'm intending to translate both games for Switch and I need a way to manipulate the phyre wrapper for dds textures of the game.

Don't thank me, thank TurtleInsect :D DQB2 uses a different engine. The KoeiTecmo one which also Arslan used. But as long as you have full access to the switch files you should be able to do the same as with the PC version. As far as I know they are the same from their file directory. Though some files might have different IDs inside the bin/idx container. You'll have to look for ones with comparable file sizes.

@@BenXC Yeah, just tried your tutorial and it worked like a charm on Switch's DQB2! It seems DQB1 was developed on Phyre Engine, and it uses a whole different scheme of texture container and stuff. But it's nice to see that DQB2 is going to be easy enough to translate thanks to TurtleInsect and you, with this awesome tutorial video! 😁 Keep up the good work! 😉

Replaying the game again due to getting a new system, and the Cactiball never spawned in Khrumbul-dun on this run. I knew they spawned by cacti, but none were spawning on my island. Checked this video to see what I was doing wrong. Cacti take too long to grow. Your videos have been way helpful whenever I needed to remember something.
