3 years later and people are still watching your videos of this game! That's pretty awesome! I wish they'd release a DQB3 already. 5 years is long enough! A shame you stopped making videos. I'd watch them! Even if you did a new, "Let's Play" I'd watch it all! Such a good game!

I've just finished the Furrowfield questline and your DQB2 videos are super cool. The hidden depth behind mechanics really enrich the experience and help me turn a blind eye to some of the game's cons (such as its linearity/it discouraging exploration by not considering sequence breaks). Looking forward to what the next islands are going to add to the gameplay!

I'm addicted to this game lol Start a project, have another idea, stop what I'm doing and start another project.... and another idea so put that one on hold as well to start the new one.. and this goes on and on and on lol Start the mansion, long a go and it's still not finish because of that problem of mine, always starting anew project XD And yes, I come back to older project, time to time.. Even my penthouse isn't finish XD

@@BenXC Well, you might know that problem, you too, but at least, you basically finish any project that you wanna show up, like the Simpson's house, your haunted house,, Church, Hyrule and etc. You see, from all what I mention, I started a very Japanese looking village, I have a "shrine" on the mountain with nothing in it 😅 and just because I watched a certain anime, now I want to also build a castle bridge and a small church (chapels). And your videos all helped me as well and gave me other ideas lol It's hard to explain, but I'll need to make an island tour video, some day and just show it, even if it's unfinish and unpolished lol.< PS: Keep doing these kind of video. You're doing a great job at it.

@@AkatsukiLink I have a half finished rail track a small in progress Castle town with no roofs, a farm with 3 fields oh and my first train stop only has foundations laid. To be fair to myself I realized after breaking out the tunnel from green gardens to cerulean steppe that I needed to know where building would set before building the railway through there, so I started on my castle town. I have a hotel, a restaurant, a chapel and the framework for the spa.

I had the problem you mentioned with not changing too many things early on. I arrived at the farm on the first island and decided to destroy all the buildings and flatten the area to get a clean slate to build on. When it came to the mission where you had to repair a farmer's home, I couldn't because there was no house to repair. I had to start a new game.

It is Ok to explore without reaching the objective for an area, especially if you know the story very well on later playthroughs. Just be sure there are blocks for monsters to spawn on if an objective has monsters that spawn. Never had any problems in furrowfield, but after furrowfield, avoid opening the tunnel for the river on isle of awakening until you have the purple snail looking monsters spawn and that you defeat all of them. In khrumbul-dun, the rails you have to build them the same as the path provided since there is kind of a hidden blueprint for them and that you won't be able to complete the quests for them especially the parallel running rails. You can change the blocks underneath them to something you would find intersting and this will take some time to change all those blocks for a nice rail build. In moonbrooke, be sure to get the throne room back otherwise if you mine the whole castle like I once did, you will not be able to proceed with the moonbrooke quest line at all. For moonbrooke, if you don't want to craft all the required castle blocks, once you get the gate blueprint in place, you can fly around the tornadoes and activate the naviglobes early in general and you can mine as much castle block as you want, just keep some ground for certain monsters to spawn. There is also khrumbul-dun style blocks in that building such as the iron blocks and colored lightboxes and you get plenty of the jumping springs.

21:12, there's an alternative to that tool, just add an extra block at every 2nd block of an axis a diagonal until you hit the halfway point of said diagonal, then you do the opposite axis instead, for example: [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] Would become: [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] I arrived at this conclusion after thinking about how the curves look in pixelated form at very low pixel diameters

@BenXC3 жыл бұрын
Hey fellow Rick and Morty fan! :) I've build a big cube on my shared english island which you can simply copy for yourself with the magic pencil (code should be in the description). I always chose a block type that doesn't interfere with other builds.
