Come on EFD, most of these players are quite well-known - who hasn't heard of Costacurta, Osgood, Ceni or Edwards?! Some better examples would be Pepe (striker who appeared in over 700 matches for Santos, won 2 World Cups while making no appearances!), Bülent Korkmaz (Galatasaray legend with over 100 caps for Turkey), Lars Høgh (20+ year career as a goalkeeper with OB Odense, he is the current Denmark and Brøndby IF goalkeeper coach), Jean-Luc Ettori (held the record for appearances as a goalkeeper in Ligue 1 for over 2 decades during his career with Monaco, 9 caps for France too), Fran (Deportivo la Coruna legend who won La Liga with them), or Marcos (2002 World Cup winning goalkeeper, spent his whole career with Palmeiras).

Matteo Locatelli all greats of the game, AC where very lucky in having such a great defence but all time favorite defender is baresi he wasn't tall but he seemed to be a man mountain, such a amazing defender a total legend , yip my all time favorite Italian player Franco baresi a true beast of a defender..

Chris Cohen for Nottingham Forest, played for us for 10 years and retired at just 30 because he had torn his acl 3 times, scored the goal that kept us in the championship the 16-17 season and now coaches our u23's

Carlos Ruiz - Guatemalan footballer who played many years in MLS, winning many titles, and also scored 68 goals for Guatemala, and is the all-time leader in goals in world cup qualifying with 39 goals in just 47 games (albeit many against admittedly very poor sides)

Aleksandr Uvarov? He was the backup goalkeeper for Rinat Dasayev for the USSR National Team and is a Maccabi Tel Aviv legend, having joined as a player back in 1991 and he's currently still working for ckub, as the goalkeeping coach. Or Israeli midfielder Eyal Berkovic who played in Britain for 9 years most notably for West Ham and Manchester City and was an incredible player. Or Avi Cohen, another Israeli player who played for Liverpool from 1979 until 1981 with Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Phil Neal and that legendary team and managed to win one First Division Title and one European Cup (Champions League) Title, he also tragically died back in 2010 in a motorcycle crash, perhaps the best player on this list.
