I think BdC didnt get that. Dior sauvage got that. if anything, BdC started all of the blue type scent thats why its so successful way back. the hate actually started once the scent profile got more popular and every designer wants their take on it.

In my opinion, Viking is another one that was hated on so hard when it came out, but it's becoming much more popular and a lot of people love it. Also, you can get it really cheap at Costco. I just ordered it, 100ml for $159!! Worth it for sure at that price.

I LOVE Absolu Instinct. The original ADG is a bit dated for me and Profumo is a tad bit too mature. Instinct is the perfect medium of modern sweetness + alluring darkness on my skin. The backlash breaks my heart.

Great video Dallas, I neglected Sauvage Very Cool Spray for a while too because I thought it was an average aerosol like Axe/Oldspice, and then one day YT recommended that video where Jeremy Fragrance "takes a shower" spraying a whole bottle of it on himself, and I must admit that the performance surprised me and since I live in a tropical country (Brazil) it's perfect because we have warmer temperatures for the most part of the year.

@@Jrtowns1 exactly i work in a perfume shop and pepole that come in and get to smell explorer are blown away with that scent and more then half of the pepole dont even know creed aventus it has been are number one seller i really enjoy it especcilly the opening and for the price you cant go wrong you should see pepoles face when they smell it has happend that they were already going to buy another frgarance and i show them explorer they end up taking it

@@ChaosFragrances you should Its really good, I say it gives the same vibe as Tom Ford Costa AZZURRA aqua, not a clone but same vibes with the pine notes, I would describe it as a green aquatic with the green giving it more versatility than you would expect and it smells nothing like any of the other chrome Frangrances.

Halloween X is really fun. Comes across as almost an iced coffee. Ferragamo Signature is similar, but a bit warmer. X is real good though man, for sure!

Unpopular suggestion: VERSACE, EROS FLAME. I aint gonna take no shit about this one, Eros Flame will RISE amongst young clubbers and really any guys that enjoy compliments and attention from women. I'd rather listen to attractive women than some 30 year old dude hating on it on youtube (the fragrance apprentice, yes)

AC absolu is better than Profumo. It’s sold out at my Macy’s over the holidays. It’s my new signature scent. Profumo didn’t perform on me at all. It had a faint scent for an hour and than it was gone. I really didn’t understand the hype for it.

totally off topic, but I can't find a consistent and informed answer on this....is the new Puig/ MUGLER version of A*men reformulated and weaker than the THIERRY MUGLER A*men? I have a new Puig/Mugler bottle and the stuff seems to disappear in an hour or 2 and that's not how I remember the fragrance...

Puig doesn't make mugler A*men it's current Clairnes group,. I have a bottle of amen from 2009 that was brand new in box and I have a newer sample that's about a year old. There are some slight difference in smell and performance but both still last a long time there's more of a difference in smell than there is projection & longevity.

the Armani Absolute is far less sweet and has a kinda hospital ish note.........I have both and think the Absolute is crap because of the hospital hint.a BLIND BUY AT ITS PRICE IS not great advice...... It is shitfull advice......
